Very charming house in lovely surroundings. Nice views of the sunrise from the bedroom window. Kitchen was very good equipped and practical. Lovely and welcoming hostess. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The house is spacious. The huge garage provides secure parking. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding very clean. Shops, restaurants and the cathedral are in easy walking distance. The dishwasher didn't work, but Juliette kindly agreed to sort cleaning the crockery after we left. The new shower is very good.

The countryside was superb and whilst the lanes were narrow, the GPS found the hôtel easily. The parking area was spacious, and other residents friendly and of all nationalités. The property is set in its own grounds in a rural area a little off the beaten track. The room was small but equipped with a comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities and a private bathroom with shower over bath, wc and toiletries. The room was quiet and the optional breakfast provided everything you could need for the day ahead. Evening meal, again optional, was good food with ample choices and pretty good value for money. There is car parking on site in the grounds and both indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Actually I am writing about the town of Sees just down the road. Great little Saturday market and a church that was definitely worth looking at. Parking in the town was a bit hit and miss as it was market day but it was well worth the effort. A really nice place to break your journey if you happen to be staying over night on the Friday. We didn't stop to eat as we needed to continue on our journey but we hugely enjoyed the brief time we spent there. A bit off the beaten track and all the better for it.MarcusUnited Kingdom
