The hotel is in a quiet valley next to a rushing river, with a view of the Najac chateau on the mountain opposite. It feels like a remote wild setting, but is quite close to Najac. There is bar and restaurant seating at the front to sit and admire the view. Our room had the view as well. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The room was comfortable.

We were unable to arrive at our planned time due to the unexpected road issue. The hotel manager waited for us until 9:00pm and offered to prepare foods for us. She upgraded our room for us to take sunrise picture of the castle there.
The location is perfect and has parking in front of the building. Very clean and comfortable.

Excellent hostal. The house is located outskirts of a small village, very near of Najac (only 8 minutes on car) and other sites of interest. It has good communications and you can find very close restaurants, supermarkets and gas station.
We stayed on 4 February with temperaturas between -1 and 8º C and the heating was perfect. The room is very spacious, the bed comfortable , a bathroom perfectly equipped. In addition you have a great common area with everything you need. About the breakfast, we can only say that you will star the moorning enjoying a good coffe, accompanied by jam, ham, cake, omelltte, etc.
Congratulations to the host

This is a converted farm building, and the conversion has been carried out with exquisite taste and attention to detail. I loved staying here. It was really comfortable. Perfect in every way.

We came to Najac 9 years ago and always said we would return. Peaceful mediaeval village. Lots of history. Friendly people.Must visit the castle.
We stayed In Oustel du Barry. Great hotel. Friendly staff who speak English. Amazing restaurant too. Highly recommend.
Would definitely go back again.
Great toy shop but they only take cash
We splurged on a larger room with a balcony, and it was very pleasant, with a view of the hotel gardens and the castle. The balcony was private and secluded enough that I even felt comfortable doing yoga out on the balcony one evening. The bed was comfortable, and the room had plenty of light. the breakfast included some fresh fruit and protein in addition to the standard bread and croissant offerings. We loved the area around Najac - lots of nice walks in addition to visiting the castle.
Friendly hosts. Rather dated, though a clean & comfortable room with a lovely view over the river & château. Dinner was expensive but excellent. Breakfast, however, was far from good, not least as nearly everything was stale - this could have been an exception as we were the only guests in the breakfast room...& possibly the hotel!
Good location by the river and views of the chateau at Najac from our bedroom window and the terrace where we had dinner. An uphill, but simple walk to the chateau from the hotel. It’s a traditional, old fashioned French hotel, we knew this from previous reviews so were happy with the decor and evening meal.
Najac Village and the Fortress Royal were amazing. It was like stepping back in time 700 years. The restaurants are welcoming and the food is great and so are the local wines. The views from the village, no I will rephase that, from anywhere are sensational. Najac is not to be missed.
Location is great, right at the opening at the top of the city, excellent access. Free parking right at the hotel. Quiet, nice view from the room over the trees. Easy check in and check out. Good value for location. Good water pressure and hot water, friendly and helpful staff.
Newly decorated, super-clean, perfectly equipped with everything I needed and a very comfy bed. Couldn’t ask for more! This charming gite is ideally situated to explore the beautiful village of Najac. I had a lovely welcome from Maureen. I would gladly stay here again.
Amazing location, right in the heart of Najac! Food was excellent, locally grown veg. The price was incredible, felt like a luxury hotel for the price of a motel.
