The Camping is approx a 30mins walk south of St Girons on a seperated path from the main road so is accessible by foot, but up steep hill. Driving there is very straightforward.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were good, with freshly baked baguettes, croisants pain aux chocolats, yogourts and fuit. A hot drink of your choice is also offered along with orange juice.
The campsite has some wonderful views, but it's slightly off the main hiking routes from St Girons (which are mostly on the other river bank).
The room was clean & bright with large windows a good view and a balcony.
Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Chateau de Beauregard is located in Beauregard, just 1 km from Saint-Girons.

Breakfast was super tasty and the dining room was beautifully decorated. My bedroom was large, as was the king size bed, decor was an eclectic mix, however it worked well. Also the views from the pool area were outstanding

The location itself is not great, on the edge of the industrial outskirts, but the grounds of the hotel are very pleasant, and it's nice to look out over the garden and pool at the back from the bar and restaurant. The food was good, and reasonable, both dinner and breakfast.

We were in France for a wedding in St Lizier, very happy we chose to stay in St Giron as it had a selection of restaurants in walking distance and was a good base to exlore the region. I am glad we had a hire car as was able to drive up to villages in the mountains. Saturday market was excellent. Plus we were lucky enough to stay when they were taking the wild horses throught the town to the Mountains- spectacular!

St Girons is not a pretty tourist town.....but it definitely has a charm of its own, which I liked very much. Low key, nice vibe.
Thé département bus stop and taxi stand are just 5 minutes walk away from the very centre of the town.....and it’s a very pleasant walk over the river, down small streets.
I liked the restaurant Saint Gi.....and if you crave chips go to l’Union! They also do ice-creams!

This is a charming, old fashioned hotel with classy decor.
This is a charming, old fashioned hotel with classy decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was closed both nights we were there, but the staff recommended a nearby place and made us a reservation. If you’re looking for a hotel off the beaten path with a classic feel, this is it.
The hotel is in the centre of a fabulous town, albeit a town that is oddly not a noted tourist destination. The rooms are very comfortable and we were looked after exceptionally well by the team. The rooms are above a restaurant which was closed during our visit (there are many others to choose from within the town). The hotel benefits from a lovely garden in which to take drinks. We would definitely return when we are next in the area.
Unfortunately everything about our stay has been overshadowed by us paying double for our stay. There was an issue with the card payment and we paid by cash. It transpired that the card payment went through and after several emails to notify the hotel we have heard nothing. Great place to stay but the lack of communication and cooperation to resolve the matter has been atrocious.
The owners are absolutely charming and dynamic. We received a very warm welcome and they were very accommodating with some small requests. The town of Saint-Girons offers a nice variety of food shops with products from the region. We strongly recommend the Saturday market in town. A great choice of hiking trails can be found within short driving distances from the town.
Beautiful setting about 10 minutes walk from the center of town. Historic chateau property and my room was in the attic. Huge space very clean and quiet. There is also a pool but it was closed for the winter. Would be a nice spot on a warm day. Nice welcome. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. It’s a lovely hotel.
This is a small, family run hotel where the young owners are committed to ensuring a high service. The rooms were newly and tastefully refurbished, with attention to detail and the meal we had in the restaurant (in winter, so out of season) was simple but excellent. Parking directly in front of hotel.
Our second stay at this lovely hotel was just as good as we remembered, really helpful staff and great setting with free parking. The auberge next door is worth the visit in itself and booking through the hotel was super easy.
Very comfotable hotel in scenic grounds. Very friendly and welcoming host. The restaurant was exceptional in terms of character and food. Overall a memorable stay.
