The hotel is beautiful. The room was large and clean and newly renovated to the highest standard. An excellent breakfast was served every morning on our own little terrace. The swimming pool was lovely. Extras - like a fridge in the room - were easily available. There are pretty villages in the vicinity to be explored, loke Tourtour or the Lac de Sainte Croix. You will, however, need a car to get around.

An absolutely fantastic location, walkable to Salernes town centre, just a few minutes walk to the natural swimming area at bottom of road, which is stunning - we all loved it. Gorges du Verdon only a short drive to the north, well worth a visit… absolutely stunning. The property itself had everything we needed, outside and inside. Above all else, the host Denis is exceptional. Very friendly, helpful and generous, you couldn’t ask for a nicer host (and his dog Miel). Super hot temperatures during our stay so the lovely swimming pool was in full use too.

Very warm welcome. Nice pool. This is like a British B&B but in the Provence. Family atmosphere. We got a very authentic breakfast with lots of fine stuff that the landlady makes for her guests (brioche, juices, confiture).

An truly exceptional experience in a unique environment. We loved staying here with our two kids. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom roomy and clean and the house is a gem if you like to stay in places that bring history to life. Olivia is a wonderful and friendly host. The breakfast outside under the large tree with views over the garden was so peaceful and delicious.

Salernes is a wonderful old town that we have visited many times before. The main square is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops and a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. The market on Sunday morning is a must do, with stalls selling a huge range of local produce and all those lovely Provencal things to take home as souvenirs - lavender, soaps, tea-towels table cloths etc. There is a wonderful natural bathing area at La Muie and we really enjoyed wandering around the old town with its old fountains dotted everywhere - very picturesque!
There is a small but good supermarket in the main square and several other supermarkets on the way out of the town.
Normally we visit in the summer. At May half-term, it was much quieter which was lovely in some respects but did mean that not all the restaurants were open. Cafe des Vignes was excellent with a varied menu and huge portions.
I like everything, we lived in a 2-rooms apartment, it’s very light with a big bathroom and well equipped kitchen. The bed was comfortable, and I liked the colores. This place is made with love and care, my family and me were like at home. There’s a big hitting swimming pool very clean and big trees are just near it. The territory is green and safe. Location us also perfect, quite easy to get to lots of beautiful towns of Provence. I had a perfect vacation there. I’ll be happy to come back once again.
Typical village house in Provence. In the middle of the village - no parking possibilities but we found a spot on the municipal parking situated 2 minutes fron the house by feet. That was super easy. The house is located in a quiet small street. Check- in process super easy - was great.
Living room - kitchen (every thing you need there) absolutely great. Bedroom with confortable double bed. very clean. Great restaurant 3 minutes walk on the main village „place“
The hosts, Sergio & Elisa, were possibly the nicest couple you're ever likely to meet. The language barrier between us was overcome with smiles and sign language. They leave you alone but are just a door knock away should you need anything.
The property was just gorgeous, clean and very well equipped. We chose Salernes as a 3 day base for its central proximity to either beaches or gorges but the village itself is well worth exploring too.

Best of the best.
We had a fantastic stay at Gites Colline De Sollies. The area is beautiful and it is easy to reach nearby locations. The apartment was very clean and the host is very helpful and kind. Our kids loved the big pool at the property. We are already planning another trip back. Truly our favourite place to stay in Provence
Great location at heart of Var region, fantastic outdoor pool with view across the Provençal vineyard and olive groves. Comfortable accommodation. Peaceful. Welcoming hosts. Good value. Close enough for day trip to the Azur coast but far enough away to avoid the bustle. Close to numerous wine regions and beautiful village perche.
This is one of the warmest welcomes we’ve received anywhere. A great effort is made by the host to take into consideration the needs of the guests. One of the rare places in France where a fridge and tea, coffee and kettle are provided in the room. The hosts were very kind towards our cats. Beautiful location and surroundings.
Lovely spot in the Var. We came for a wedding nearby so was a handy base for sleeping; it's part of a family home in their garden so not a tradiitonal hotel so expect that, the couple were so lovely with a fantastic breakfast in the garden and fresh cake in the afternoon. Very sweet

We had a great experience! Located in the beautiful French countryside, not far from town of Salernes, the accomodation offered us all the facilities that we needed and our guests were very kind. 10/10
