We had an amazing stay in Tourtour, felt welcome and enjoyed cozy atmosphere of the house and town itself. The rooms (and the sauna!) + kitchen were very well equipped and we loved our time spent in the house. Parking was easy and for free, 5 mins walking from the house. Nice restaurants nearby (literally almost next door).

We greatly appreciated the assistance that Philip gave us in wheeling our luggage from the car park at the other end of the village by the church, carrying it up the staircases and helping us similarly on our return walk to the car park.He was also very kind and helpful in other ways when one of us was ill for 2 days.
Tourtour is a beautiful location and we slept well due to the quiet location.

Beautiful and tranquil medieval French small town with lots of restaurants and art galleries in and around the pedestrianised 'square'. As good as small and beautiful can get in the Var. Great base for a week. Lots of steps and steep roads, though we did see a couple of intrepid wheel-chair users about within family groups. Tourist office has odd opening hours - contact them ahead of time for lots of info.

The views are to die for!
The views are to die for! Picturesque little town at walking distance. Lovely grounds around the property. Breakfast was nothing special, although (again) the views from the terrace make up for a lot. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Room was starkly furnished, not very luxurious. Pity, because the size was great!

Truly one of the plus beau villages de France - the village in the sky it certainly is ; picturesque in itself but with stunning views; it’s very well served by bars ( Bar des Ormeaux must be one the best bars in France if not the world!) and no trip of ours to Tourtour would be complete without a visit to the wonderful La Table restaurant. Tourtour is a jewel!

Nice little elevated French village, offering a lot to discover on the artisan and art of the table. Great view over the surrounding hills and Var Department. Not to be missed, the restaurant La Table, high end gastronomy in this little town.
As part of a road trip, we visited Tourtour and stayed at Penthouse Studio Privee - La Maison Searle. The apartment, perfectly renewed with great care for details, is nothing short of amazing: cozy and comfortable, with a stunning and well equipped terrace offering a great view. The owner, Philip, was very welcoming and friendly, he met us in the town’s square and led us to their apartment. All in all, a wonderful experience that we surely recommend. We will definitely visit again!
The views from the house were stunning & very relaxing. The pool was a good size and we swam a lot. I loved the ground floor bedroom, so stylish and calm. The house was very well equipped and we would definitely come again.(little design features like the stone wall to the left that started as flat stones & gradually slopped up in a lovely curve, clever.)bought loads of good olive oil to take back, and the village of Tourtour is charming.
We are so glad we picked this stay - it was by far our favourite hotel from our South of France tour. The view is stunning, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - they gave us lots of recommendations, and would remember us from one day to the next to ask how it was. Combined with a delicious dinner with the view... we loved it. It had a very family feel. We will definitely aim to go back!

Tourtour is a beautiful location and we slept well due to the quiet location.
The food, especially at evenings was out of this world. So good. The view was incredible with the mountains in the background, the sunset, the stars at night, plenty little corners to go read a book in quiet, the city of Tourtour was super charming (except for the square) but filled with little galleries. The staff was so kind - we will without a doubt coming back next year.
The apartment was much larger than expected, had all the ammenities needed, and very comfortable. The small town of Tourtour was beautiful and town people and restaurant staff were all extremely nice and accommodating. The Owner of the apartment was very friendly, lived in town and was always available to reach if necessary.

This hotel is so gorgeous, perfect for a romantic trip. It was my husband's first time to France, and he loved France and especially this place so much that now he wants to buy a château there! Also, the hotel was only a 5 minute walk to the cute village of Tourtours. This is definitely one of my favorite hotels anywhere!
Marvelous place, extreme friendly personnel (the South of France must be so different than Paris ;-); no effort to difficult for them . Just a great top location at walking distance of beautiful (mind the climbing!;-) Tourtour
Idyllic, peaceful view. Clean, quiet rooms.
Monica and Mireille were WONDERFUL hosts. Got us reservations at all the top restaurants in the area. (Including their own hotel). Delicious breakfast. Short walk into TourTour.
Beautifull view on the terras, lots of space, clean room, philippe is very friendly, Tourtour is by far the most 'picturesque' village in the area. Very satisfied.
