The service, the scenery and the amazing building were all truly perfect. We could not have asked for a better stay near Avignon. Folco is an amazing host who consistently went above and beyond.

If you love being immersed in medieval history, Villeneuve-Les-Avignon is a wonderful, gentle stop over. Great Saturday markets, friendly locals and only a quick bus ride across to Avignon. There are some amazing sites within the town, the main highlight being the magnificent Fort Saint-Andre and the old Abbey gardens .. a very easy walk up the hill from the main town centre. There are also welcoming bars and quality restaurants. Well worth a visit.

Lovely little village on the other side of the Rhône river and as such gets overlooked. Some great restaurants there and a small park on a hill giving great and alternative views of Avignon and of course, the Palace du Pape. Also, it is close to the village of Chateauneuf du Pape (13 miles drive) if you want to sample some very fine wines of the region

Villeneuve-les-Avignon is a delightful, historic, town full of fascinating places to visit. Having been a Protestant stronghold, keeping an eye on the Popes in Avignon, (visit Philppe le Beau's Castle) there is a lot of wonderful history to discover. There are also some lovely gardens, if you don't mind a climb, and a few really good restaurants amongst the touristy ones.

This is such a beautiful hotel in a perfect location in a gorgeous, bustling little town. The property feels very quiet, the parking is easy but walk through a door and you're amongst shops, restaurants and picturesque town squares. We were lucky with the weather and ate outside in the restaurant for 3 nights and loved every moment. We sat by the pool, wanderered through the town & visited Avignon. This was our third visit & we will always try to return to this hotel and we're so glad to see it again after this difficult year.
This hotel is in a very old building and has lots of charm. The views are spectacular, the breakfast was nice and satisfying. Falco made very good coffee. He was also very helpful, lugging our heavy bags and parking the car in the VERY tight space.
The rooms have some nice antique furniture and are comfortable, but a little rustic. I found the bed and pillows comfortable.
The location is excellent. Close to Avignon and a short walk down the hill to Villenueve, a cute little town.
It is close to historical attractions and it is convenient to travel to other cities near Avignon by car. The owner is friendly and very service minded. I would recommend friends and other to stay here. Breakfast is nicely prepared by the owner and it is well prepared and good value for money. The place is located at safe neighborhood. I parked outside the hotel at Public area. I stayed for 3 nights.
The boat is a terrific place to stay if you understand that you're staying on a hundred year old river boat. We loved it. If you're looking for a.plush hotel room look elsewhere. The location is very quiet but only about 15 m walk to the center. The breakfasts on the deck were very pleasant. The owner of the boat charming and helpful.
From the moment we arrived I was more than impressed. The hotel is beautiful, fantastic location and well equipped. Lots of little touches make this hotel one of the best I have ever stayed in. Serena, the concierge was incredible, knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond to look after us.
Wonderful place to stay in the center of the old town of Villeneuve-les-Avignon. Very quiet, short walk from central city parking and convenient for restaurants. This was my second time staying at this apartment and I hope to stay there again. The owner is friendly and helpful.
Everything about the property was disappointing!
We have stayed here in years past and sent many friends and family because at one time it was a beautiful hotel with beautiful gardens and restaurant. It was really sad to see that the hotel has fallen into such a poor state.
We spent two nights during our trip to Avignon. We were provided with detailed instructions to get to the hotel, parking was convenient. We stayed in one of the small studio apartments which was very spacious and well equipped. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
The hotel is beautiful. Christophe and his staff were kind and helpful for our entire stay. The breakfast was fresh and had many choices. We are at the restaurant for dinner one night and it was such a treat. The food was fantastic. We will be back!
A beautiful small hotel in a great neighborhood, just across the river from Avignon. It is quiet (except of course for the cicades) and clean with very nice staff. It is authentic and stylish but still informal and easygoing. I had a great stay!
Comfy budget hotel, great charming view from the terrace over the river and city, most helpful staff, deli breakfast. Plus east to park car on the back of the hotel. Easy walking distance to the city Center.
fantasy setting becomes reality. this hotel is picture perfect in a laid back old town just outside Avignon. huge parking lot and great home base to explore the city and surrounding areas.
beautiful hotel. Room 7 has a great balcony overlooking the garden. Clean comfortable rooms.
Good sized pool.
Excellent staff. Maybe a couple more would ease the workload.
We liked the combination of a hotel and a care home....unusual...but its a reallly interesting comination,as we got speaking to sme older residents, which was rather nice.
Stunning location on the river overlooking Avignon. Lovely family run hotel, so helpful. Great breakfasts, delicious dinners, beautiful gite & a lovely pool.
