Very picturesque tourist market town - typical of the Cotswolds. with River Windrush meandering through the centre. Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and gift shops. Lovely historic Model Village. Plenty of parking and public facilities.

Plenty of attractions to visit and large variety of places to eat. Wonderful local scenery and close to many other Cotswold towns. Free parking for 90 minutes is available in the centre of the town if you look for it. A lovely place to walk around with traditional old stone buildings.

A lovely historic town with some tourist attractions within walking distance. We spent a day exploring the town and visited the model village, the motor museum and Birdland. Food options are varied, good old English, Italian, fine dining and tapas. The village is beautiful with many old properties that are well maintained. Pubs are oldy worldly and very busy at weekends. Plenty of good coffee shops. Paid Parking is available at either end of the village if staying over 1 hour so no problem parking. Village parking is restricted. Walking options are all around and many locals are happy to oblige if you need directions.

Absolutely stunning, beautiful place full of character.
Absolutely stunning, beautiful place full of character. We visited slightly out of season so was not too busy. Smiths is an amazing restaurant, specialising in gourmet burgers, you will not be disappointed! Lots of other independent shops selling a range of crafts, antiques and much more.

Also, walking distance from The Model Village, The Dragonfly Maze and Birdland. There is parking nearby. We did have issues with the water but the owner sorted that out promptly - continuously communicating with us and keeping us updated. I would recommend staying here, it's nice and cosy and quiet after a long day exploring the Cotswolds.AnjnaUnited Kingdom

We especially appreciated its dedicated parking area, since we arrived in a rental car on a day quite crowded with tourists and no clue where to park. The hotel was surprisingly quiet for being so close to the center, but also well-situated for walking around the quaint town and enjoying its charm. The breakfast was lovely.
