Stunning house in a beautiful setting!! Grand and stately but cosy and comfortable at the same time! Lovely dining room and great big kitchen which worked perfectly for our activities - cooking lessons for a Italian feast! It was great!

Quiet beautiful surroundings away from the main road. Very clean and comfortable accomodation with a good shower. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast with lots of choice eaten in the lovely thatched cottage.
No heating or hot water. Boiler break down. We're left to freeze with my disabled partner and my daughter had a new born baby. No staff member informed us of this problem until we made a complaint

Room 107 was a disgrace.
Room 107 was a disgrace. There is something seriously wrong with the plumbing. It may be previous guests leaving nappies down the loo but when we came to use it the flushing system did not work. The toilet filled with water and the contents were not removed. Someone tried to resolve the issue with a plunger but it was resolved. We had to use the public toilets near reception and were grateful for these. We had a beast in our room - beetle? Maybe but cockroach 🪳 more likely. Pictures are with the staff at Brome Grange.
Breakfast was chaos. Too little space for the number of people and items like fried eggs and croissants missing.

Stayed one night, which was enough.
Stayed one night, which was enough. I suspect the restaurant menu does change very often each year.
Old hotel caught in a past era - some upgrading but all unimaginative and dated. Rural location also meant staffing dificulties and closed facilities/lack of service.
Completely lacking in atmosphere, sense of arrival or rural location. View from room of the rural location non-existant - pity; many opportunities lost.

I will NOT be staying in ANY Best Western hotels until the correct VAT rate is charged.
The Government has reduced prices to encourage people to stay in hotels and keep people employed. BEST WESTERN IS POCKETING THE MONEY AND NOT EMPLOYING ENOUGH STAFF TO RUN THE HOTEL.
THE RATING OF 3 IS PURELY DOWN TO THE EXCELLENT AT BROME
Very peaceful hotel in a leafy location. Easy to find, ideally placed as a base to explore both Norfolk and Suffolk. Breakfast was good - full range of continental, cereals or cooked breakfast available, with eggs done to order if you prefer. The "executive" room with balcony was good - comfy bed, hot shower, and the balcony with French doors was most welcome tonlet in cool air (the rooms bake in the afternoon sun).
Room was large. Clean and comfortable- my son loved the hot chocolate and biscuit treats- I don’t usually sleep well in hotels- but managed a good night here- bed was comfortable/ curtains blocked out good amount of light- the fan was a nice surprise to provide white noise- breakfast was nice and the lass serving was polite and managing the room very well despite being solo
On arrival, it was pouring with rain so the receptionist said that I could park in an empty electric car charging space as there were no others free saving me from getting very wet! The room was spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. I ate at the hotel and found the food to be very good and well priced. I will likely stay here again when working in the area.
We stayed at this hotel while cycling the Rebellion Way. The hotel is situated on the A140 and is set out like a motel. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and we were able to store our bikes safely there. The accommodation is quite basic and the room was small but the price reflects that. It was quiet and peaceful there. Dinner and breakfast all good.
This hotel has a motel vibe... so if you've ever wanted to stay in a motel after watching countless films, this is your chance to minus the airfare! It is clean, quiet and comfortable. Plenty of hot water. The breakfast is cooked to order and is fabulous with excellent quality sausages. The included breakfast really made the stay.
Room was clean, modern and spacious, stocked with everything we needed. Food was lovely, the menu has been recently updated, service was good. Bar was welcoming and cosy with a log fire. New owners made us feel welcome and gave us complimentary drinks. It was a last minute booking, would definitely go back.
Room was really clean and spacious. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely, menu was much better than when I previously visited last year. Staff were friendly and attentive. Atmosphere in the bar and restaurant was really good. Good value for money, a lovely relaxing weekend in beautiful surroundings.
The hotel was fantastic with high quality rooms. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will most definitely be returning in the future! The food was amazing and I was even given complementary drinks at the bar, courtesy of the owners.
Aimee the receptionist was very welcoming, explaining where all the facilities for the hotel were and arranging our taxi to the wedding we were attending. Breakfast was excellent and were the staff on duty.
