A nice friendly atmosphere from the moment that we checked in. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy and nice sized bed which was comfortable, tea and coffee supplied, we had lovely sea views from the room which also had a beautiful front garden. The breakfast time was between 7.30am - 9.30 each morning with a lovely cooked breakfast and a large pot of tea and also fruit juice, cereals and toast. The bar at the property offer a large range of drinks and reasonable prices. It has been a family run business for many years and they look after their guests. They also have a restaurant but not sure if it’s open everyday but looks good. Forgot to mention that there is an onsite car park and the back of the building. We will definitely return as we like the location.

    It's a large village with a beach.

It's a large village with a beach. It's not especially scenic. There's no promenade. The beach is quite nice, and in summer it would be good for sunbathing, though you might have to walk back into the village for some of the facilities. The carvery is probably the best place to eat. You should probably think about whether it really is Caister you want to stay, and not say Sheringham, Cromer or even Great Yarmouth.

Caister is a wonderful place to stay, the beach is a short walk away and in the summer I can imagine is a brilliant place to spend the day. Beautiful clean beach with soft sand. Lots of takeaways and convenience stores and so close to Horsey etc if you want to see the baby seals.

Beautiful long sandy beach, went to Brilliant fish and chip shop which was amazing, best fish & chips we had in a long time! We stayed in a wonderful accommodation but the pubs were not what we expected! Not traditional seaside pubs.

We were visting relations, never been to Caister before and in April the weather was not brilliant so we did not see a lot of Caister but it was easy to get round and pop down to the beech and vew the sea. The Old Hall Hotel is excellent along with their staff, well worth the visit. We wished we stayed longer but alsa we have to go home sometime.

The Town is a bit run down.

The Town is a bit run down. A lot of places closed down, may be due to COVID or cost of living. Most of the pubs close to our accomodation is closed. Nothing much for kids to do, apart from the beach. Caister-on-Sea is a bit depressing.
