The chalet was in a great location, was dog friendly and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This included, a great pub, The Steamboat Inn just a short walk away along the beach. The log burning stove kept us cozy even when the weather outside was stormy.

Breakfast would have been better served hot but as a buffet had been cooked and kept warm for a length of time, As breakfast was an extra £25 it had all the ingredients to be better.

The room was very spacious and the bed was large and comfortable.
Carsethorn is a very quiet village with limited amenities.
Carsethorn is a very quiet village with limited amenities. There is 1 pub, the steamboat Inn and food is lovely however you must book well in advance. Left a little disappointed when we tried to order a takeaway from there which was advertised and were told they couldn't facilitate due to the kitchen being fully booked for table service. There are no takeaways who will delivery to carsethorn and nearest is a chip shop in southerness. It's a must you bring your own food with you to avoid any disappointment. The beach is very pebbly and not suited to some dogs.

The thing I liked most about the property was the peacefulness and beauty. I had never visited the Solway Coast before so this was a welcome surprise. Accommodation was modern and tastefully decorated, warm and cosy. A fantastic place to relax. The summerhouse was lovely as well and the hotter was fun.
The location was breathtaking and the facilities were top notch.
Sitting in the hot tub under the sky was amazing no matter what time of day. This was the perfect place to reset and de-stress.
The cabin is well thought out and has everything you need. Bring some food and cook or use the local hotels restaurant and just relax at the cabin.
Very friendly owners. Beautiful surroundings. The hut itself is great. Kitchen has everything you need. 2 bathrooms. Brilliant hot tub, very private. Little beach hut was wonderful. Loved Carsethorn.
