Actually we we're there to visit Chapeltown, we were at a wedding in Wisewood and the hotel was quite handy and inexpensive. However, as far as I saw the area is quiet. Reasonably close both to the Peak District and the City centre. However I wouldn't recommend if the main purpose of the visit is to visit the city - it's too far out.

Breakfast was fabulous with a selection of items to suit all guests - and the lovely treats provided in the bedroom were an added bonus. Location was also perfect for the purposes of my visit to Sheffield. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay at The White House for anyone wishing to visit Sheffield.
