Breakfast and dinner was excellent, the young chef was friendly and came out and spoke with us answering our questions about the meals .there was a wide choice and all beautifully cooked and presented.

Very clean room, even though rather quirky in terms of out of room facilities, not en-suite.

Everything was great. You arrive, get the keys from a locker and access your cabin. Then it's up to you to enjoy yourself or not. In the middle of nature and under bare skies, it was a quiet place to get off the M6 (while motorbiking up to The Lake District) and have a rest. I never got to see the hosts or anybody else for that matter. When I was done, I left the key in the locker and continued my journey. I had a well-deserved rest after riding up from Land's End.
