Amongst the most friendly hotels I've had the pleasure of staying at. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Food and drink excellent and good value. I recommend the roast if it's on. Good transport links to Caerphilly and Cardiff.

Location was exactly what we wanted, room was very ok, exceptionally clean and beautiful size room, staff in bar were lovely. We were very disappointed that the bar closed at 8pm, the nature of our journey ment we were back at around 8pm and was very much looking forward to having a few drinks. We did manage just to get a couple of drinks that we were Able to have in our room but it wasn’t the same. We would have liked more teabags and coffee and loo rolls put into our room daily but no one appeared to top them up.
