Very peaceful hotel in a leafy location. Easy to find, ideally placed as a base to explore both Norfolk and Suffolk. Breakfast was good - full range of continental, cereals or cooked breakfast available, with eggs done to order if you prefer. The "executive" room with balcony was good - comfy bed, hot shower, and the balcony with French doors was most welcome tonlet in cool air (the rooms bake in the afternoon sun).
In the market town of Harleston, in the idyllic surroundings of the Norfolk and Suffolk borders, this 15th century coaching inn offers comfortable, modern en suite accommodation.

Fantastic Place with spacious and very comfortable rooms. Very high level of quality furnishings, and tastfully designed and appointed. The staff were simply excellent, well trained, efficient and made you feel very welcome. Very Highly recommended.
In addition, the Restaurant was absolutely superb.

Stunning house in a beautiful setting!! Grand and stately but cosy and comfortable at the same time! Lovely dining room and great big kitchen which worked perfectly for our activities - cooking lessons for a Italian feast! It was great!

ideal for snetterton bike racing which is why we stayed, (only roughly 15 miles away) if you want to go somewhere quiet afterwards. Nice local pubs to eat in too.
We did not do anything else there though so may have to go back for longer!
