The hotel was in a lovely location and decorated to a high standard. The bar lounge area was very nice. The complimentary shuttle bus into town in the evening was great.

Great location as I needed to be at the Guildhall which was only a four minute walk away. Bizarrely the receptionist hadn't heard of the Guildhall. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful

Room facing road. Noise not a worry. Breakfast very good and freshly cooked. Parking was a short walk away (book in advance as it is limited). Two flights of stairs but we expected that.
Lovely village. We didnt get to explore much though, due to the weather and time constraints on our trip, but we had a wonderful time at our cottage catching up with special friends and would love to return again.
