The room we were in had recently been refurbished & furnishings were of a good quality. The finish in the bathroom was of a very high standard. Breakfast was good. Checking in and out was straight forward and quick.

Talking about the hotel my only criticism was the bath come shower I'm not very steady on my feet and couldn't shower because there was no handle to hold onto in the shower itself and also I found the shower screens were difficult to manoeuvre as they swung into the bath towards the taps and anybody falling in the bath whilst having a shower could probably do themselves serious injury other than that no problem

Our family live in Feering so it was conveinient for us.
Our family live in Feering so it was conveinient for us. We know the area well, it's very picturesque. Lots to do and close to main line trains if you wanted a trip into London, which we did. Close to Colchester, historical town with lots to see and shopping if that's what you want. Close to the countryside with lots of country pubs and restaurants to visit, good for a long weekend.
