Loved this little gem of a place. Plenty of parking and the room was spacious enough. Lovely bar below the rooms with a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. Would recommended and stay again.
The hotel includes free Wi-Fi throughout and offers modern rooms, which are equipped with a flat-screen TV. The rooms also benefit from a king-size bed. Some rooms have a balcony.

Everything from checking in, requesting an extra day's stay at short notice and checking out was a very pleasant experience. I had some specific needs that Angela's team responded to and exceeded my expectations. The room was perfect for my needs and well decorated, prepared and maintained. The food experience was also very rewarding. I had breakfast and evening meals; the choice was varied and the standard can only be described as delightful. The staff were very professional and caring which was an important element of making my stay one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a long time.
I would strongly recommend anyone who has a need to stay in the area for business or pleasure to seriously look at the Everglades Hotel Widnes, it will be a very enjoyable experience.

Enjoyed breakfast, could have had everything a lot warmer than just sausages. It was luke warm, edible though.
On hilly location, not sure if access would be ideal in the winter freeze for example.
Lots of car parking behind main car park, swim pool nice size to swim in with 3 lanes.

We made a random choice of hotel as we were in the area and decided to take a break. Really enjoyed the hotel and it's location. Nice, but hilly, walk to Frodsham and great views from the War Memorial near the hotel. Hotel is a bit tired in some respects (coloured bathroom suite for example) but very acceptable. Staff friendly, food good and pool was quiet. We've booked to go back in May.

Great location. Good gym for workout.
Great location. Good gym for workout. Also pool ideal for kids.
long walk to town. Easy downhill but get taxi back if needed. nice village nearby local pubs and church for sightseeing. Pleaseant area.
The beds were the most comfortable I have slept in for quiet a while.. 2 plump pillows, a bonus, normally ya only get 1. We didn't get to enjoy too much but as we were leaving, there were squirrels running up and down the trees.. extra Bonus. Would have loved 2 have walked thru the park adjacent to the hotel. It was on top of a hill in a quaint little town and the views were stunning. Would recommend people to stay there. Was late for dinner at hotel but "did somebody say just eat"..
It's a great place, very nice staff, there is a monument just a few minutes away with an outstanding view of the Merseyside, quite impressive. We really enjoyed the swimming pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna. Overall, I would say our visit at Frodsham Forest Hills was a really good experience.
The hotel is an old property but was spotlessly clean both in my room and the communal areas. The staff were really friendly and helpful. the room was large and had a great view over the grounds. Breakfast was delicious despite my hangover.
Quiet hotel with fabulous views across the river Mersey. It snowed before we arrived, then again through the night. The view at breakfast was magical, driving down the hill into Frodsham an hour later wasn't lol
We were greeted by Brian who was an absolute delight. Couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and funny. The hotel itself is a little dated, but it was clean, comfortable and the staff were great.
Lovely clean and modern facilities and decor inside and beautiful setting just outside Frodsham. Liam was very accommodating and let us check in early, which was much appreciated!
The gentleman on the reception was brilliant and the young gentleman in the bar and at breakfast by the name of Josh was very helpful and hard working a great asset to the hotel
Room was spacious and beds are comfortable.
