The hotel does not have a counter...instead there are 02 bars and 01 restaurant with an amazing bar as well, so I did my check in, I was welcomed in one of the bars...fantastic !!!

The room was perfectly clean The beds were a bit too soft but still comfy The breakfast was very nice, you could ask anything to be cooked, the woman with her pink fringe was adorable, really taking care of us. The property was extremely comfortable and immaculately clean. Theresa our host was so friendly and made sure our stay was enjoyable. She even let us bring in a Chinese takeaway and eat it in her dining room which was over and above anything we would have expected. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bed extremely comfortable. Toiletries were provided and there was also a nice choice of tea and coffee with kettle, coffee machine and fridge provided. There was even a wee dram of whisky waiting for us. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had in a B&B with the best of produce including homemade jams. We enjoyed our stay so much and would not hesitate to visit again and would definitely recommend to others. Thank you again Theresa

Abbeyfield was lovely to stay at. Rooms spacious, clean and had a home away from home feel. Nice touch with gowns and slippers. There was a lounge which was comfortable for drinks and the dining area has a small fridge where you can put a few things. The breakfasts were incredible with a great selection. Location is so convenient with a short walk to pubs and restaurants. The host Kira is so warm and welcoming. Loved our chats and local advice for the area. Great communication around booking etc as well.
