Loved the privacy of the rooms, all well thought out. My one gripe is when hotels do not have mirrors in front of dressing tables. This was obviously designed by a woman as not only did it have a large well lit mirror but plug points with easy access!! Well done! Bathroom was really spacious. We had a lovely stay and will definitely stay again.

Good location. Stock is where beautiful, historic Essex begins. Not as noisy as had expected.
Excellent team of staff prepared and able to deal with any niggles. Breakfast very good but where is the black pudding which many guests apparently wish to order?
