Lovely quiet location with fantastic parking. Very welcoming and friendly hosts who were contactable at all times. Good WiFi and access to Netflix passwords. Brilliant games room which i will use on my next visit when i return with my partner. Nice private garden with a comfortable seating area. Couldnt be happier

Seemed like a nice town, plenty of bars and restaurants, including a rather upmarket Wetherspoons ! Be careful if you park in the large council car park, behind the Main Street. You have to park on multi story.

Salisbury Arms is my favourite hotel and I always stay there when in Hertford The staff are friendly, the rooms are just great and so is the breakfast ! The location in a quiet street, yet right in the centre of Hertford , is perfect. Just a few minutes walk from lovely cafes , The Old Barge pub by the canal and the Saturday market, and a few minutes to long walks along the river.

Parking is terrible, I paid on payonphone app for the multi story car park and it was a nightmare. Still have to display ticket even when free! We travelled into London with friends who live in Hertford to see a show. Nice easy commute.sueUnited Kingdom

The lounge bar and dining room we’re comfortable & the food in the restaurant was delicious! we didn’t use the patio area due to cold and rain but it looked like a wonderful place to have a drink . they had nice amenities like tea nespresso biscuits water bottles for your room and a butler pantry for refills.
