A real hidden gem of a place.

A real hidden gem of a place. Walking distance from the historic hever castle and the local pub. Our hosts Wendy and Ivor were so nice and welcoming. The rooms are spotlessly clean and of a very hi standard. The grounds and gardens of the cottage are beautifull. If your looking for a quiet relaxing getaway then this is the place .

There is really not much here other than Hever Castle, the church, and a really good pub restaurant. You can hit Chartwell on your way to your next place. Worth a 2 night stay. The Castle is great, beautiful gardens, lots of walking, an US tycoon renovated building with excellent original history. Great place to bring kids, lots of distractions. The church has a great collection of original brasses, including a superb one of Anne Boleyn's dad. The Henry VIII pub/restaurant is the only game in town, fortunately it is quite good, Friendly service, really good food, make sure to book ahead.
