The place was beautiful, the staff were absolutely wonderful very friendly and welcoming.

It was very handy for visiting friends, so the general location was spot on for us.
The property was large, airy and clean, with all the facilities that were needed for our overnight stay.
The shower was hot and powerful and the bed was comfy.
The kitchen looked well stocked with utensils however we didn't do any cooking, so couldn't comment further.
On-street parking was also easy, with a village square opposite, for extra parking.
The value for money was excellent.
There were a couple of local pubs and we ate at The Bridge End, which was absolutely delicious.

We had a lovely one night stay here on route to the Lake District, it is such a nice wee place , everything you could need. The bed was so comfortable, there are a few kitchen appliances, (including a great wee coffee machine and pods )and the breakfast stuff left for us was fab ! The owners came to introduce themselves when we arrived and couldn’t have been nicer, we would definitely return and we would really recommend this place.

We chose not to have breakfast which was available on request. However the property is beautifully done out and in a lively location. It is close to the lakes (30 min drive to Keswick) and plenty of nice walks locally. There are nice pubs close by with good food
