Stayed in a beautifully decorated family room with a friend. Double bed and single bed. Both very comfortable. A lovely shower en suite.
Great breakfast. Ready meals also available to cook in a microwave at a small cost, plus snacks and drinks, soft and alcoholic.
Saw a red squirrel in the garden, fed with peanuts by the proprietors. Proprietors were very friendly.
Featuring mountain views, kaoglen Wild-Hot tub-Cairngorms-Pet Friendly features accommodation with a terrace and a patio, around 45 km from Scone Palace.

The location in the centre of Pitlochry is excellent. I had a good dinner in the restaurant but it was only open one of the three nights I stayed. Most of the staff were pleasant. I had a good massage treatment at the spa.

Breakfast was excellent, good service and friendly staff.
Meals at night were very expensive, more like central Edinburgh or Lindon prices .
Same with cocktails.
So we chose not to eat there at night.

Room was quiet at end of the corridor. Appreciated borrowing iron, ironing board to iron clothes.

Kirkmichael is a quiet wee town but you have the mountains of glenshee to the east and Pitlochry to the west. And an amazing road between. Nice wee shop with cafe for everything you need. Great river walk from the village.

Kirkmichael is a hamlet situated on the River Ardle.
Kirkmichael is a hamlet situated on the River Ardle. In the village are a few lodgings, a restaurant and a small local shop.
The village is situated on the road between Blairgowrie and Pitlochry. This road takes you through beautiful countryside, but the road is very winding and mostly single track.

Ken & Moira were very friendly and gave great tips that ensured we got the best from our time there. We ate in Kirkmichael at the local hotel for our first night and again on our third as the food was so good. Although we left our small dog at home for this trip, we quickly found out that dogs were more than welcome at the B&B as well as all the restaurants we visited. Will take her with us next time.

we had a very enjoyable stay at the Lodge.
we had a very enjoyable stay at the Lodge. It was very comfy & clean. Ken & Katherine couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast & evening meals we had were good, very reasonably priced & of good portion. Set up the hills on the edge of the forest being a quiet location. Having deer on the doorstep is a bonus. Would definetly stay again

Sweet little village with interesting old church.
Sweet little village with interesting old church. Lots of walking nearby and great for cycling. Enjoyed seeing the swallows, swifts and house martins all around the village. perfect for dog walking.
Friendly, laid-back, but very attentive hosts. Hotel is very cool place, well integrated with local community (There's an honesty bar with games and guest mingling where the great breakfast is served. But recommended to book for nearby community pub for meals in evening a short walk away). I'd stay here again. Hosts are Paul and David. Paul also runs a cake-making video channel. They recently bought the hotel and are developing it in stages. It's a really fun stay.
The Stradhardle Lodge is located in the heart of the wonderful Perth and Kinross region. Kirkmichael is just a lovely little village surrounded by beautiful forrest and peaceful nature. The room was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed Paul and David’s amazing hospitality and their harty breakfast most of all. In hindsight we wished we booked more days in the lodge. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a place to unwind and explore the area.
I couldn't wait to write this review. The atmosphere in the hotel was amazing. Each member of staff went far and beyond to give us a friendly and welcoming feeling. We had a great time, laughing all the way. The food was amazing, both breakfasts and dinners, all felt homemade. Our room was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. We will be happy to come back.
This a lovely little b & b in a pretty little village. Moira and Ken are very friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfast was delicious, particularly the avocado and poached egg on sourdough toast! The Kirkmichael hotel is about a minute's walk away and serves excellent meals and again, it's very friendly. overall, a great stay

A warm welcome to a lovely old hotel with helpful hosts. Our room was spacious and we had an excellent night's sleep. A really good location to stay if walking the Cateran Trail. An excellent choice of tasty food for breakfast too. All in all, a great place to stay for a short break.
A wonderful hotel in a quiet village in a beautiful area. We had the family room which was very clean and spacious with a large bathroom. Our evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. This is definitely a place we would like to stay in again.
Amanda met me on arrival and instantly made me feel welcome. I've never travelled alone, so was rather anxious. Within minutes I felt calm and at home! Nothing was too much trouble. She is an huge asset to the hotel. I cannot wait to go back!
Large former hunting lodge in quiet Kirkmichael. The room was very spacious with good views to the front. There is a cosy lounge and a large dining room with honesty bar with snacks. Our host was really friendly and helpful.
Wonderful location. The hotel is under renovation but is very peaceful and relaxing. Owner and staff are very helpful. Excellent food, both supper and breakfast. Book supper in advance as it's a popular place.
Kirkmichael is a lovely small village, very peaceful and incredibly scenic. The walks around the area would satisfy all grades, from easy through moderate. It is unspoilt and a perfect haven for a holiday.
We were offered without asking a continental breakfast because of an early start one morning which was brilliant. The hotel needs a little modernization but made up for this with welcoming atmosphere.
We really enjoyed our stay, the room was quite nice. The staff were really nice, it was one of the top hotels, in our opinion that we stayed at during our 10 days in Scotland.
