The hotel is situated in a lovely quiet village opposite the village green, amoungst a number of houses of a similar age.
It is very welcoming, light and airy, with the staff very polite and attentive.
The food was excellent, with a varied fresh menu with specials. Breakfast was also excellent, prompt and very tasty and of good quality; You order what you would like and at what time before you go to bed.
The room was very clean and tidy, and in the case of the room I was in, the bathroom was huge (1.5 times the size of the bedroom), with an excellent walk in shower cubicle and a large freestanding roll-top bath.
