Lovely Georgian country house. The staff were friendly and in the main efficient and polite. They worked hard on a busy Valentine evening and we felt well looked after (But see below). Bed comfy and the restaurant food was very well presented and of a high quality. Drinks menu good and wine list reasonable and good overall.

We had a Celebration of Life for my Sister and it was excellent.
The Lake Room was set out beautifully and we had a wonderful Afternoon Tea for over 70 guests.
The staff were very attentive and kind. I would recommend for a function. Liz the Events Manager was great and made sure our day was a happy one. Lovely setting overlooking the Golf Course.

What a great place, beautiful old pub, with 6 new mezzanines in a separate building. No noisy roads, only singing birds.
Breakfast is served in the room, great. Excellent dinner.
The Dog & Bear was very comfortable. Great to have a bath with really hot water after a hard day walking the Pilgrims Way. Food was just what we needed, well cooked, filling and tasty. Staff were helpful friendly and interesting. Other places are available to eat. Many wonderful historic buildings in Lenham. Easy walk to the train station.

A lovely, very quaint village with friendly local people.
Next time I stay, I will hopefully take in a stroll, the weather wasn't great, for the short time we were there.
I can imagine during the Spring and Summer months, how beautiful the village square would be.

Incredible walks through fields just past the medieval church. I went to the local shop to buy some dog food and they let the dog in. I chatted to locals and visited some more of the shops all dog friendly. The village is beautiful and has a range of pubs and restaurants which I didn’t get chance to use. It was a really nice place to stay for a night. I would have like to have stayed longer. To top it off I heard a nightingale on my walk. I’ll definitely be back. I stayed in a dog friendly room at the Dog and Bear - lone female traveller with a small dog.

We went to Chapel Down vinery for a tour before staying at Lenham. The Dog and Bear was a little further than we expected down a lot of very scenic country roads but we had a very enjoyable stay for one night.

Sweet, quintessential English village.
Sweet, quintessential English village. The Bow Window coffee shop is first rate both food and staff. Under new management since beginning of February 2020.
Close to Leeds Castle and Chilston Park Hotel amongst beautiful countryside.
Check In was good hassle free. Room was still being worked on but no probs with that. Attached Hotel bar is nice, friendly and has live sports. Room was quiet and you have secure doors after 10pm so you can let yourself in. breakfast very good and you could ask for more tea and coffee.
Very convenient for Leeds Castle and Maidstone shopping. Village is practically unchanged which is nice and of course the Fish Restaurant was excellent in the Square.

We had an enjoyable 3-night stay at this property. Great food, lovely rural location and very pleasant helpful staff. Lenham is a cute village. Other pretty villages are not too far away by car. Leeds Castle is worth a visit.
The room was clean, well-appointed, and very good value for the money. Lenham is a charming and picturesque village, and the hotel's location on the village square was ideal for my walking trip.
This is a hotel of two halves. The front is a nice old coaching inn. Pleasant bar and dining room. Very good staff serving nice local beers and good-value pub food.
A good central location in Lenham just near the place I was working, staff were friendly and helpful, service was good. Bedroom and en-suite very comfortable.

Excellent breakfast, enjoyed evening meal. Room large and very comfortable. Can understand bathroom arrangement due to age of hotel but step not easy!!
