Lovely Georgian country house. The staff were friendly and in the main efficient and polite. They worked hard on a busy Valentine evening and we felt well looked after (But see below). Bed comfy and the restaurant food was very well presented and of a high quality. Drinks menu good and wine list reasonable and good overall.

We had a Celebration of Life for my Sister and it was excellent. The Lake Room was set out beautifully and we had a wonderful Afternoon Tea for over 70 guests. The staff were very attentive and kind. I would recommend for a function. Liz the Events Manager was great and made sure our day was a happy one. Lovely setting overlooking the Golf Course.

What a great place, beautiful old pub, with 6 new mezzanines in a separate building. No noisy roads, only singing birds. Breakfast is served in the room, great. Excellent dinner.
