Second visit to the Royal Victoria Hotel and we were not disappointed. Location for our needs was fantastic, our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty ( with a great view to boot ) and so peaceful too. The garden in the grounds is lovely to sit in on a sunny evening, with a glass of something cold ! The staff are fantastic and helpful, especially the chappie on the door at breakfast and the lovely lady who serves the breakfast. Diolch ! to all.

Clean comfortable king-size bed, Wendy was amazing, The breakfast was good and Wendy prepared it early for us as we needed to be on the road by 8.45am.

A really stunning house. Beautiful pictures and paintings on the wall. It is like stepping back in time and staying in a house from over a 100 years ago. Everything is immaculate and authentic. The orangery is an amazing space as well if you want to hold a party or a big group of friends.
The Slate is located in Bangor, North Wales, featuring an on-site restaurant and bar. Free WiFi and free private parking is available.

Proximity to Zip World, owners kept referring to Anglesey, how good it was! Bangor full of students.!! Caernavon we recommended a restaurant, but owners told us it was not! good friends had said so.
The 'local' knowledge was poor of the owners, or was either contradictory or wrong. The Slate Restaurant nearby.
