Lovely quiet location in mid Wales village. Beautiful old public house, modernised with excellent rooms and facilities. Attentive, efficient staff serving excellent array of good ales, beers. The food was exceptional and excellent value. Thoroughly enjoyed my one night, should have planned more nights! A hidden gem really. Would be great for cycling and walking. Will definitely return.

Extremely helpful and friendly hosts. Breakfast was delicious and we appreciated everything that was in the room - homemade brownies, a wide selection of teas/coffees and toiletries. The packed lunch was delicious and great value. We were walking the Offa's Dyke path so the pickup and dropoff was very handy. Really big room with a very comfortable bed. Would be happy to stay again.

Rob and Melissa are very welcoming. They make you feel at home. I had an amazing breakfast every morning. They were always flexible and accommodating to any requests. There's also a car park, and in the room a mini fridge, fresh milk, coffee machine and daily treats!

We went for breakfast at the cafe a couple of mins walk away and it was very nice and the lady that runs it was lovely! We visited Pistyll Rhaeadr, which was only a 12min drive away. Sarah has brilliant communication. Would definitely recommend
