Enjoyed the McCrossan walking tour- gives you an understanding of the history and you get your bearings to walk around independently. The Guildhall was interesting and well worth a visit. Good choice of restaurants and bars. We had a lovely meal at Fitzroy, drinks at Badgers pub and a great traditional music evening at Peader O’Donnell’s pub. Great shopping centre too - Dunne’s is a great shop !

There is a lot of history to learn of particular interest to the British from the first settlement to the present day. To appreciate the city it is necessary to walk everywhere- over the peace bridge, along the road with the murals in Bogside, around the Guildhall, walk the city walls and visit museums etc. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Really friendly helpful people. Very easy city to navigate. Highly recommend participating in a walking tour (around the walled area) of the city. Takes about an hour, but is really helpful (historically). We had just an overnight & until the following early afternoon. Will definitely be returning! We went on a guided tour of city and it was really worthwhile and enlightening and gave us a feel of what the city has been through. Our accommodation was within walking distance a brilliant location . Exchange rate made things expensive. Definitely worth a visit and we will certainly return, easy to drive around.

This is a four-star hotel which in our minds is 5 star!! We were booked for a two-night stay, but unfortunately, we received a phone call stating my wife's mother had passed away and had to check out a day early. The hotel only charged us one night with no fee for the second-night cancellation. For the greater Londonderry and Donegal area, there is no better hotel to stay in, period.

The breakfast options were also excellent, including a traditional Ulster fry for only an additional £4.
