Everything, from seeing the location that is so peaceful & quiet, to opening the door of the pod & the bathroom facilities, was just perfect for our visit. 2 black lambs & the 2 lovely horses right outside our pod were just idyllic. To be greeted by 2 scones with butter & jam to have with a much needed coffee, we sat outside enjoyed the scones & the scenery. We loved our short stay, we will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

We stayed for three nights and absolutely loved the Royal Oak. We were with 4 friends on a hiking holiday. The room we were in felt very luxurious (Room 3, a premier room). Breakfast was excellent and we had two evening meals which were delicious. The staff were all lovely and very helpful, particular shout out to Becky (hope I have the right name!) who made us feel soo welcome.

A lovely comfortable pod in a great location . We were on-a bicycle tour and we appreciated the extra comfort it provided .

First experience of staying in a pod! Posh camping!
First experience of staying in a pod! Posh camping! Very cosy and comfortable. Beautiful location. Ate outside in the evening, luckily it was fine and dry. About a mile outside of the village. Very quiet, perfect spot to rest and relax after a day's walking. Carole very welcoming and helpful.
