We stayed at the Carlton for 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay. .Our room was lovely and big, side sea views with a huge double comfy bed. It was clean and warm. The staff are friendly enough and breakfast was good. We shall definitely return next year.

The breakfast is delicious, there is plenty of choice and nice little touches like fresh fruit and fresh scones/muffins brought around as well as the main breakfast. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming (Amanda deserves a special shout out)
We stayed in the shepherd hut. It was beautiful! Warm and cosy. Immaculately clean. The bed was amazing- we slept like a log. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and croissants piping hot! The staff were lovely and we wished we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend.
We had lunch at the Boathouse down the road - a much loved haunt of ours and the food is delicious!
