The cottage was really lovely. Nice use of the space and good facilities Wonderfully peaceful when we were there too. It's a great base to get to just about anywhere in Pembrokeshire. The kitchen was well equipped. The shower room/toilet was clean. Our bedroom was comfortable and we had plenty of space.

Pembroke Self Catering Apartments, hotel in Pembroke

Set in Pembroke and only 17 km from Oakwood Theme Park, Pembroke Self Catering Apartments offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Very difficult to find entrance. Tried contacting staff but no one responded until 10pm. Directly next door is a clock tower that rings every hour. Across the street is a bar and it was extremely noisy until 5am. For an apartment that sleeps 5, you’d think they would provide more than 2 glasses to drink from! Really disappointed with this accommodation.

Very friendly welcome. Lovely pub, have stayed here before but not for a long time and it looked as though everything had been newly decorated. The rooms are big with a sofa and the coffee machine and bottled water was very much appreciated. Breakfast was very good.

Pembroke castle was interesting and right in the town.

Pembroke castle was interesting and right in the town. There was also a nice walk around the mill pond. The town had a small high street with a few interesting shops and places to eat/drink. Most of the car parks were pay and display so you had a have an idea of how long things would take. In terms of beaches Barafundle Bay was the best but it's half a mile walk from car park and cafe, so no facilities on the beach. For walkers they it the coastal path and lily ponds.

One of the finest castles in Cymru (albeit with a lot of restoration - if you're after a genuine original ruin other castles are available) and a wonderfully compact fortified town with a collection of decent pubs and places to stay. I hear there are beaches nearby but they're not my thing so can't comment. Ate at the Watermans Arms where it's still possible to get a decent sirloin steak under £20.

I am originally from Pembrokshire and have family living there and this property was the best location . Had fantastic food at The Dolphin hotel and the Coach House was a lovely pub as well. Only disappointing factor is mist of the shop we're shut for full Easter holidays

Pembroke is a reasonably attractive town, but the natural coastal surroundings are the real eye-catcher. We visited Pembroke castle which has much for the historian. But it's a monument to some very grim history.

We had a 5 day break, which was long enough because it was Winter time, but I would stay longer in late Spring/ Summertime, as great beeches to visit, great coastal walks and the coastal towns are all bustling.

Location was perfect - across the road from Pembroke Castle and a couple of minutes walk from the town main street. Good choice of pubs, restaurants, take-aways and food shopping within easy walk, and only 20 minutes from spectacular beaches, clifftop walks, and Tenby. St Davids is a bit further away, but well worth a visit. The house itself is very pretty, and has a comfortable feel to it. There was nowhere outside to hang wet clothes, but the tumble drier made up for this.

The cottage is in a great location, close to the beach but not too far from Tenby and Pembroke village. Lots to do, close enough to the train station so we got the train into Tenby. The cottage is exactly what you need, small and comfortable, the bed and very nice and have us a lovely nights sleep. The shower is very powerful and definitely going to miss that! Lovely little outside area where you can sit and relax. Very clean inside.

Facilities, cleanliness, breakfasts provided by charming hosts Rebecca and Jeremy all made for a very enjoyable stay in a glorious part of Pembrokeshire. Thank you Rebecca for recommending a superb evening meal at a local pub. Main reason for selecting this area was to visit Skomer Island and photograph the puffins, and also reminisce about places we used to scuba dive in our younger days. Highly recommended.

We were lucky to get two rooms in here as other hotels in Tenby were full. The hotel is just some 15 - 20 minutes drive away from Tenby which is not too bad. One of the rooms felt more refurbished than the other one but the bed was comfortable with different options of pillows. Breakfast was very good and they offered a Welsh special of laverbread for us to try! : )

The beach shack was in a perfect location to explore that part of Pembrokeshire..just down the road from Barafundle..and a short distance to the north coast. The property was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a week's stay. Bathroom was great with a good shower, and both bedrooms clean and comfy.

Everything. The guesthouse is located in a very quiet area in Pembrokeshire. The room was large and comfortable. The owner is really kind and every morning prepares a typical British breakfast: however a continental breakfast is always available too.

It is a very nice property and the living area are spacious. We had a very comfortable stay. The Pink House is also very close to a big beach - literally a stones throw away, as well as being an ideal location to investigate Pembrokeshire.
