Lovely location. Characterful building and interior was nice. Staff were really great; friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was nice, and the bed very comfortable. The restaurant is great and the food really excellent. Definitely recommend eating here, even if you aren't staying at the hotel.

The food at the evening meal was excellent. Had breakfast brought to my room in the morning because I wasn’t feeling well. A lovely tray of toast and jam, with pot of tea.
