Such a regal and spectacular building. Reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The entrance and main hall is phenomenal. My room was a very spacious suite in the main building. It was missing extras such as toiletries and could’ve done with a bath tub. The building was very warm and unfortunately, the mattress was rock hard and I now have a bad back from it.
Besides that, the restaurant was very formal but brilliant food.
Breakfast was hosted in what I imagine is the old kitchen/servants quarter. Coffee was great but they took quite a while with serving hot food. It would’ve been nice to have had it in the dining room.
Overall a very pleasant stay but I probably wouldn’t stay again due to the mattress being rock hard.

Excellent location in the heart of the town. The lack of dedicated parking wasn't a problem, we were able to find suitable places over the early May bank holiday weekend. Accommodation wasn't particularly smart but was very comfortable.

Delicious varied breakfast. Accommodation was in a fantastic location for walking to Church Stratton. There are many areas for hiking, straight out of the door.
