The apartment was located centrally in Rickmansworth close to every amenity you’d need. Supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and train connections all within easy reach.
The accommodation was very tastefully decorated with everything you’d need for individual or group stay.
The bedrooms, bathroom, lounge and kitchen area were all equipped to a very high standard and perfect for a long or brief stay.
Inexpensive payable parking opposite the property, cross the road some 50 yards to access the stairs to the top floor apartment with balcony and views over the town and surrounding countryside.
Host was very helpful and communicative and we’ll certainly be looking to book again.

During our stay at the Hunton Park Hotel, we were very pleased with several aspects of our visit:
Room:
The room was spacious and comforting, making it especially suitable for our 2-year-old baby. A cot was provided, which was a thoughtful touch and greatly appreciated. The room was also very clean, contributing to a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.
Breakfast:
Breakfast at the hotel was good. There was a variety of options available, ensuring that all tastes were catered to. The quality of the food was satisfactory, and the dining area was well-maintained, creating a pleasant start to our day.
Staff:
Neal Khanna was particularly very friendly, personable and helpful during our stay, making my baby and I feel welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed. The receptionist was also polite, adding to the positive experience with courteous and efficient service.
Overall, Hunton Park Hotel was enjoyable, thanks to the comfortable accommodations, good breakfast, and attentive staff. I would recommend it to other families looking for a relaxing and welcoming place to stay.

Upgraded to the bridal suite.
As soon as the receptionist (male) knew we were a recent couple and that I stayed at Shendish many times, he updated us the the amazing bridal suite.
Thank you so much
My lady loved it.

The hotel grounds were well kept, breakfast was decent although the server wasn't very cheerful and seemed like she didn't want to be there.

So much to love here! Surroundings/Location was amazing. Room (deluxe king) was so lovely, comfortable and really clean! Check in and out was really easy, quick and efficient.
Spa facilities were OK, nothing necessarily to shout about, but they were nice.
Food was amazing! We dined in the Glasshouse where they have their buffet. Not an ordinary buffet, it's around £80, but the choice is incredible, the quality was 10/10, flavours etc, just amazing. Staff were super attentive. Definitely didn't get £80's worth, but only because I was so full. But it was nice to be able to eat one plate of curry, then pasta then a roast! Great selection.
Breakfast was also a buffet and with a great selection once again. Unlike a lot of buffets, it was actually very clean and replenished constantly.
We booked as it was our 10 year anniversary, the hotel had some anniversary chocolates waiting in our room which was a lovely touch!
Overall, amazing stay, just looking at the diary to try and book 2 nights this time!

The apartment once inside was absolutely fine but the entrance and parking was a real issue for us.
We will need to stay in this area again because of family but will have to try and research any accommodation more thoroughly with the parking.

If this review comes through twice...sorry it went before I had finished. Room ok good size, bed comfy, but radiator in bathroom very weird freezing cold all eve and we hate having a lovely shower jacuzzi and drying off in cold bathroom. Good size en suite though.Tried to get rad on...in night it came on and bathroom like a sauna could not get rad off, floor so hot could hardly walk on it! Small red chairs tatty marks on them. Food ok but disappointed restaurant not open and bar food only...after driving 4hrs etc...if receptionist had shown us how to work jacuzzi which was a lovely surprise, it would have helped...all staff lovely and breakfast very good, but for the price paid we were not impressed....sorry but we were expecting one or two things differently we nearly used a Premier what you see is what you get...! Always clean and comfy and for one night they are fine but as this was a one night stay for a relatives funeral who lived at Ammersham, we decided your place looked more luxurious... we feel half a loo roll and hardly any tissues, was unacceptable we didn't mention this because everything ran out in morning and we had to leave.
The property was lovely and in an beautiful location the village was so pretty.
The hotel was so clean, in beautiful grounds and with ideal walking paths nearby.
The other great advantage, it was only 20 minutes on the train to central London from the local train station.
The room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable.
The food was great.
We had a wonderful weekend and we will definitely return again for another great weekend here.
Friendly, efficient staff in this attractive rural hotel. Our superior double room was spacious, comfortable and stylishly appointed, with a beautiful unspoiled view across the quiet road to the horse in the field opposite. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking. Night porter for late entry. We're already trying to think of an excuse to come and stay here again!
We were in London for a conference and had travelled there by train. Our daughter was staying in Rickmansworth but there wasn’t any accommodation available in the town. Staying in this quaint hotel outside the town was only possible because we had access to our daughter’s car. We liked the ambience and location of the hotel and have booked to return.
the venue/hotel was quaint & comfortable - host/desk staff very polite & helpful - nice area to walk around. Looks like a fabulous wedding venue. Breakfast was nice & staff in their were lovely & helpful the breakfast was small but lots of choice & not to much so you were over faced.
Although I had stipulated that my husband is wheelchair bound and I needed a disabled accesible room, the hotel only had one room and that was already taken. However they found us a room that was on the ground floor in a block close to the hotel that was suitable.
Stayed overnight before a flight out of Heathrow. Wanted to stay out of the city. Very comfortable hotel in a small village. You just need to keep an eye on the motorway and leave in good time to get to the airport
Our room was very spacious and elegantly decorated. We enjoyed being there and would love to come again if possible! In fact we stayed extra days and cancelled another hotel, because we felt so at home!
The hotel is set in beautiful grounds in a very pretty valley with good walking nearby. We only stayed for one night but the room and food were first class and the staff very helpful.
Character and setting of the Hotel and surprised how rural the location is. Breakfast was also excellent.
It was only an overnight stay but would have liked to stay longer.
