Booked and paid in advance and turned up to find out the hotel was full with no room available for us to stay in.
The hotel is in Llangollen town centre, looking out over the River Dee. It mixes original character with modern comforts, including free Wi-Fi, free parking and a riverside garden.

Excellent buffet breakfast, but no directions as to where the breakfast dining room was located.
Shortage of glasses when we arrived for breakfast - apparently in the dishwasher.
