Lovely place to spend a few nights The price was great. And the host was very helpful and friendly. Well decorated throughout and clean. With very good facilities for tea, coffee and chocolate. Biscuits and chocolate as a finishing touch along bottled water. Large screen tv wall mounted.
Shampoo and shower were available in the room with clean fresh towels for the shower and hand wash. With matching décor and bedding.
A short walk from the town centre along the river opposite.
Sadly this time i did not take any photos of the room to share.
The room size was good and cosy.

Great central location. Super easy to check in. Bar/venue underneath to the rooms was such a vibe (we were here for a party). Bed was comfy and bathroom was great. Mini fridge in the room came in handy. But most of all, everyone who works here was so lovely an accommodating. Would 100% stay here again if we returned to Sleaford!

Only stayed over on a Tuesday night, plenty of places to eat, we ate at a wonderful Italian restaurant in the square, it was busy which is a good sign and the food was excellent. There is a lovely church in the square and coffee shops to chill in. Easy to get to from main link roads. The roads in Sleaford are very busy at times but it is an old town and the roads reflect this.

Probably good to do a wee bit of research before you go.
Probably good to do a wee bit of research before you go. The only thing we knew about it was the Sleaford Mods spawned from the town!
There is a farmer's market first Saturday in the month. A range of restaurants and shops. Restaurants are busy on a Friday night and you need to book in advance. One way system takes a bit of getting used to.

Has a Wetherspoons for something cheap and quick but a nice restaurant in market square for something a bit more special.
Nice little riverside cafes.

When we were in Sleaford it poured with rain which spoiled our experience this time. Lovely weather other days visiting surrounding villages Kirkby-la-Thorpe, Asgarby, Ewerby.
We stayed at Finchhatton Arms in Ewerby, it was an excellent small, independent hotel, good food, friendly staff.

Not a place I normally would have considered going to before. We went for another reason but having now been, would definitely visit again. A very interesting town with a lot of history and interesting buildings. Lots of places to eat, ie pubs, restaurants and cafes. I would say a great place for a long weekend.

The property is not in Sleaford itself.
The property is not in Sleaford itself. It’s in a village called Ewerby. The hotel has lots of history which is detailed in a book in the room. There are also many photos scattered around showing how it used to look. Ewerby is a lovely quiet village with a church, a pub and some pretty houses. It was nice for a short stroll. Sleaford itself is a short drive away along country lanes. Sleaford is a much bigger town with a high street packed with shops. There was a nice river there and you could stroll along the banks viewing all the wildlife.
Great guesthouse. Perfectly situated close to Sleaford Town centre. My single room with en suite was perfect for my needs. It had everything you would want. Good shower, towels, tea, coffee, comfortable bed and very clean room. The host, Alex, was very welcoming, good communications and flexible to a late check-in.
I will stay there again on my next trip.
I absolutely loved this place! It was really lovely and I'm so happy I stumbled upon the listing. The location was great. It was easy to find and parking was not a problem. There were lovely touches throughout and lots of information for the cottage and surrounding areas.
A very well-appointed and reasonably priced hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.
I would certainly elect to stay there again and would recommend it to our friends or, indeed, anyone seeking overnight accommodation in Sleaford.
The proprietors have tried hard to make the rooms quirky, the novelty items make the bedrooms interesting. Beds were ok.
It's very handy if you need to be in Sleaford, which we did.
The butter and the sausages at breakfast were very nice.
Wide range of cereal and fruit available, plenty of snacks, tea and coffee and infused drinks in room, more than you could expect. Better than some 5star hotels. I would highly recommend and if needed will certainly stay again.
location was fantastic, my English family had joked about Sleaford being in the middle of no ware but actually worked out great, Sleaford is a beautiful market town close to Linkon and trains 1hr to london and york
The hotel is central, the decor is very quirky, lovey beer gardens. Serves evening meals which were delicious and reasonably price. Breakfast was included in the hotel room price, good choice very tasty.
I found it a great place to stay rooms where tidy only issue which I thought minor was the floorboards a bit creaky, when in room felt like a hotel, and when in the bar/ restaurant it felt like a pub
Perfect location, comfortable beds, super power shower, courteous friendly helpful Manager Shannon, I will definitely use this hotel again and highly recommend!
Warm welcome, busy pub, comfortable room and breakfast was superb 👌 right in the town and very convenient to walk Sleaford. Greatest biscuituits as well.
