Apartment very close to centre of Spalding. Very near to bus and railway stations allowing easy travel to desired destinations. Numerous shops and eating places. Lots of things to do in Spalding, walking along beside the river, visiting Museums and parks like Ayscoughfee Hall. A fun place for adults and children, with no admission charges. Definitely worth a visit.

Was only there for one evening. Drove in the short distance to buy an evening meal at Wetherspoons. Driving out noted sainsbury's and Lidl. Needed a few bits in the morning so purchased from there as leaving. Friendly place. Pubs, food outlets and supermarkets in very small centre.

We went for the newly revived Flower Parade that was fun and quaint in a way that only the British can manage - delightful. Any other time Spalding would be a very average town with nothing special to recommend it unless the location fits your needs

We feel Spalding a beautiful place to stay and has great amenities. Springfield outlet is a great place to grab a bargain and also wander around the beautiful garden. Also it is near to local attraction, Moulton Mill ,you can book a tour of the mill , purchase flour and other goodies and not forgetting the afternoon tea it is exceptional .
We have dined at Prezzo in Spalding which we highly recommend.

Spalding is a quiet little market town with most of the basic things you need - it's best to stay close to the centre as everything closes early.
The surrounding countryside is lovely (as with most places in Lincolnshire) - there's a Water Taxi (though I haven't used it yet) which takes you from one end of the town to the next.
It's mostly clean (compared to the big cities anyway) and the people are friendly (though some locals beg to differ...)

I don't usually leave reviews, but after staying at Sunrise stable, I felt I had to write one. The place is really nice and located in really great and relaxing area. The comfort and cleanliness was 10/10. I was attending University study week at Holbeach campus and usually would get for a hotel but I am so glad I did not. Regardless of if you are on business trip or holiday break, I highly recommend Sunrise stable! I really don't know why would someone choose hotel over this.
the hotel is fantastic, it was very easy to get the key from outside. We arrived around 12am so there was no one around, but we called the receptionist in the afternoon and she told us how to get the keys. Everything was ok. The room was very nice, the bathroom was amazing. In the morning we spoke to two ladies both very friendly, we had a very good English breakfast at 9.40 and the kitchen closed at 10am so all the staff was very available.
Convenient for access to Spalding Town centre and roads to other areas. Viv the owner made ever effort to make our stay comfortable even though she was not expecting us. She even had to arrange different accommodation for the first night as Booking.com had made a mistake by not telling us the Guest House was supposed to be closed. Excellent from the guest house but bad from Booking.com.
We stayed for one night but wish our break could have been longer. Loved the room - huge! - and the building itself. the breakfast selection was fabulous, and the location perfect for what we needed. The staff were super helpful and friendly too. If we are ever back in Spalding, we will not hesitate a moment to book a room here again. A 10/10.
The place is very clean, and modern, had everything we needed to feel at home. The communication was great and super easy and the host was very hospitable. The whole place made us feel at ease. The neighbourhood is very conveniently located, near shops and a children 's park close by. Would absolutely recommend staying there when in Spalding.
breakfast was very good we also had evening meal which was also very good large room large comfortable bed very clean room very nice owners and staff could not be more helpful or pleasant most enjoyable stay at this hotel can fully recommend we were both more than happy with our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again many thanks
The hotel was located in a good position for where we needed to be. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was extremely comfortable. I requested a low floor with walk in shower due to my wife recently having a new hip fitted, this was granted. There was enough tea, coffee and milk. Receptionist was very polite and helpful when booking in.
Hotel is convenient for town, had a nice garden & friendly staff. Nice breakfast room & good menu choices. Room was compact, but comfortable. There were a few snagging/housekeeping issues, which I gave feedback on direct to the Hotel (bulbs out etc) Overall a very nice stay & I would stay again.
This was a real find. The rooms are spacious, bed comfortable, food was great and its very reasonably priced. The hosts were lovely and it makes such a change to stay in an independent family run hotel. If you are in the area I don't know why you would stay anywhere else.
Location was a bit isolated, being away from the centre of Spalding, near a service station and fast food outlets, but it suited us as we were just passing through. The room was basic but clean and comfortable, food was ok and staff were friendly
The property is still under renovation it appears however this is outside mainly and did not disturb my stay. I can only think the completed works will add to this charming inn. I hope to stay here going forward on my trips to the Spalding area.
