Booking. Com stated that Dressing gowns and slippers were part of the deal in this dog friendly Hotel. But on arrival no dressing gowns and no slippers where pooches had been tramping over the bedroom carpets... Then it advertised a bar but when you try and find a table at 3pm they are all laid up for the evening restaurant overflow and marked reserved! The staff do their best but the off site Directors lay down the rules and the resident manager has no authority. Cannot even find a couple of dressing gowns. The rooms are well maintained by housekeeping but the day to day technical care is rubbish. Our Nespresso unit dumped a tank of water all over the teabags, sugars and biscuits. All replaced the next day. We asked the deputy manager why Booking.com was promoting a wrong offer and they said the website would not change it. We doubt this ..So we moved out of the Manor and booked into the upmarket Blakeney Hotel for a few more nights! We'll let you know what happens next.
Wiveton Bell features free WiFi throughout the property and a south facing garden garden, 6 km from Holt. This 4-star hotel offers a garden. Rooms include a terrace.

The White Horse met all expectations relative to the middle market price we paid. Their food is excellent. We were visiting Blakeney for the first time. The town Itself must be one of the best stay locations on the North Norfolk coast. The White Horse provided us with a value entry point. To be recommended.

We stayed in Warham because of its proximity to the Thursford Christmas show - a few miles away. Very pretty village in a quiet location. The people that we met were very welcoming. We stayed at the Three Horseshoes in a very comfy room, breakfast was excellent!

Warham ideal location for us because of proximity to Walsingham Basilica. Close to other lovely places like Holkham Hall, Wells next to Sea & Dunstanton cliffs/ beach
Where we stayed The Three Horseshoe also had a very good food and is dog friendly.

This is about Warham itself and not The Three Horseshoes.
This is about Warham itself and not The Three Horseshoes.
Warham is a haven of peace after the crowds in Wells-next-the Sea. Norfolk,(and I speak as a Norfolk woman) is much better away from the coastal strip in the summer. We came across Warham almost by accident and love the quiet village with its two churches and walks along lanes. The pub is steeped in local history and the owners could do more to tell visitors about it.
I never did find the ancient earthworks!

Ideal base location for exploring the coastline.
Ideal base location for exploring the coastline.
Ten minutes from Wells by car.
The village has no amenities so you do need a car to get around, but the peacefulness of the village is well worth it.

A beautiful village in an idyllic setting.
A beautiful village in an idyllic setting. Only a mile or two from Wells-next-the-sea on the coast with beach, view of harbour and coastal walks. Great food, beers and ciders at ‘The Three Horseshoes’(Warham). Wells has two good chippies (French and Plattens). Sheringham is about 15 miles away- excellent fish and chips like Daves and Straits.
About 10 miles from The Thursford Collection and 15 miles from Pensthorpe Wildfowl Sanctuary(Fakenham)- 2 places we always return to.
