Comfortable and stylish annexe which was it was close to where we wanted to be. We’d forgotten to buy some milk, however the host’s father dropped off some a litre off and also sorted out the TV . There are no shops in Wendens Ambo so this saved us a trip into Saffron Walden .

Wow what can we say, a perfect spot for an overnight stay. The hosts are absolutely lovely and the property as a whole is stunning. We were worried we would not have time to eat, we need not have. We arrived to find meats, salad, biscuits, chocolate, crisps, croissants, bread, butter, cheese, tea & coffee, milk, treats for our dog and much more. Our dog was treated as importantly as we were and the bed was very comfortable. We would not hesitate in staying here again.

Good location for the breakfast and the quality of the food was mixed (My wife thought her's was excellent but mine was mised ). The service was good but the one staff member serving ( believed to be the owner ) was inexperienced and clearly stretched but was friendly and as efficient.

The location was ideal for us, it was beautifully quiet and in a lovely village. Our room was very comfortable and along with the shared bathroom, was immaculately clean. Juliette was a great host and provided a fabulous breakfast of cereal, toast, bacon and egg and great coffee.
