Lovely beer garden and play area for children. Rooms were a nice size, and welcoming. large shower head and food was lovely. Side entrance to the bedrooms when the pub was closed. Lovely original feature beams. Large selection of meals and snacks on the menu. Allowed dogs to stay which is important for us when we travel and there was only an extra £10 charge for the dog. Rooms were soundproof which was nice because you had no interruption from people moving around or talking in other rooms.

I was attending a funeral and the staff were very accommodating letting my friend and I check in early. Free parking just around the corner and a great location to where the wake was, so all in all it was very convenient. The breakfast was yummy and the staff were very pleasant.

For a change now days with a booked room, we felt is was good value.
It was never going to be a luxury night but actually was perfect for a stop over.
Clean, good size, all the essential basics.
Liked the ground floor with own access. Next to a police station so our cars were safe. Quiet

Excellent location, easily accessed from M5 or via the Forest of Dean from M50. Short walk from Cottage to the Forest . Two pubs, one serving good basic pub food with no frills. Two shops and playground (we didn't have children with us, but property very suitable for families). Close to Bream, more shops, places to eat and places of interest.

We all liked the house,it was so clean and homely and had beautiful views. The garden decking is in a sunny spot.and the house is in easy reach of many places to visit by car. Parking is right by the house.
We ate at the Nags Head in the village, good, fresh cooked food. We also went to Clearwell Castle.
As we were only there for a couple of days for a wedding, we didn't get a chance to sightsee, but locals are helpful and friendly, and full of great ideas for places to visit.
Would love to stay here again.
