The location is amazing: local restaurants and beach are just few minutes away. The room had exceptional direct view to the sea and mountains that exceeded our expectations! I would recommend the hotel for families with kids as the area is quit and clean and swimming pool has kids area. The only disadvantage is the breakfast as it has very limited choice of food (sometimes there were not even fried eggs or sausages/bacon but boiled eggs only).

We love coming here and have now been five times in the last two years, every time for 2-3days but it is a perfect, excellent value for money get away.
With every all inclusive, we all think it’s a great idea but when you are queuing for your food during the most popular times, you doubt your decision. So my advice, miss the busy times, wait a little longer when every has finished and enjoy your meals times! There is an excellent selection of food to choose from every service with something for everyone.
The pools are great, the main one is more busy than the others normally and the beach great in the mornings and early evening, there are lots of sun loungers on the beach which isn’t so nice but the sea and view wonderful.
You are in walking distance to some lovely beaches or there is a little road train is walking isn’t your thing. The area and hotel is not for the faint hearted there are a lot of steps but keep positive every step is another mouthful of food or drink without feeling guilty haha
The staff are all great, from reception, bar, dinning room and the lovely cleaners, they are all very friendly, helpful and all work extremely hard.

Small town but very pleasant.
Small town but very pleasant. It has everything you need for a fun and relaxing vacation. Various activities can be done: cruises, excursions, quad safaris, snorkeling, scuba diving, etc. Being located in a bay, the sea water is very calm and ideal for swimming. Sandy, clean beaches. Tasty dishes at restaurants.

Balion is a very crowded , popular coastal town in Crete but once you park at the hotel you can just walk down the (steep) stairs to the little beach. It is a quiet location so perfect to sit and take in the view. We do get tired of hiring sunbeds to add to our holiday exenses and unfortunately there is only a tiny patch of sand to relax on. The jet skies get prime waterfront position too but once in the water, it is calm and very enjoyable. We stayed 2 nights, probably 4 would have been better to enjoy the views and atmosphere. I would definitely stay again but only in room105!

Beautiful place but need to know how to get to hotels.
Beautiful place but need to know how to get to hotels. There is a bus stop in the hill above the town so you need to wait for mini train into town unless you want to walk down hill into to town 20-30 minutes depending on your hotel local. I think there is only one taxi in town so they could be busy when you arrive,

Balion is basically a few little areas dotted along the coast. Each area has restaurants and hotels and a few shops. You can walk between a couple but for the ones further away you'll need a car or can use the small on road train service which runs every hour and is very cheap.
Mambo is a great choice to eat. There's also a great place at the very top of the hill - in a secluded bay with only 2 tavernas. Its the half way point on the train. The taverna furthest from the steps is the one to pick!
Breakfast was great, probably the best of courses, though it could do with better coffee. Also the local draft beer was great, vegetables, fruits and salads of high quality and interesting combinations.
The separate bars and pools were very convenient since the hotel is divided in three different parts. Drinks were indeed free and of adequate variety.
Also, the view to the sea and the port downhill was panoramic and majestic, almost from all rooms and parts of the hotel.
Last but not least, the stuff is genuinely friendly and helpful.
Loved everything! The rooftop pool was fantastic, delicious breakfast, cool and spacious 4-person bedroom with mezzanine level and balcony. Great shower and bathroom area. Especially loved the cliff down to the water and the free use of the SUP and kayak. We had never been to Bali but it had a really nice vibe and this hotel was an excellent choice. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is centrally located within walking distant to many shops as beaches (medical center & pharmacy at the entrance). The hotel is beautifully decorated and designed. The restaurant is overlooking Bali and the food is so tasty. Fantastic service from the friendly staff. Rooms were new and super comfortable (good wi-fi in the room for free).I highly recommend it to everyone.
A very nice, family-run hotel in a perfect location, up on the hills but right in the middle of Bali village and close to everything, including a number of beaches. A little bit weathered, but that's okay and mostly just adds to the charm since the place is so clean and well-maintained. Amazing 180-degree unobstructed sea views from the seaside rooms!
Friendly and warm environment with happy staff!
Unique location! The cleanliness in the common areas and in the room is excellent! The welcome from the kind Manager of the hotel, Mrs Georgia made us feel at home. Keep up the good job guys. We will definitely be back, spending a week with the kids enjoying the beach in beautiful Bali.
Very good location, close to nice beaches. The apartment was large and clean and had everything we needed. Nice terrace with a great view. There is a nice pool near you can use for free. Dimitris is a very nice guy, he even organized a party for all guests in the hotel where he played nice sons on guitar. Thank you for everything!
We stayed at the angel villa
. The place was perfect
The all included was in the main building
The food was ok but more like 2-3 stars hotel
The stuff were excellent
The view and atmosphere were amazing
I would suggest the hotel to disconnect the villa from the food facility than the rate would be 10
A car is a must
The hotel offers very good conditions, the ammenities are great: the pool, the pool bar, breakfast was excellent - great variety of food, always very fresh and tasty :) The stuff was constantly smiling, they are very welcoming and nice. Close to a small beach which was perfect for families, with great tavernas close by.
The hotel was excellent. The view from the balcony was amazing. Mattress, AC and fridge all were great. We loved the pool with a view and the small café area. The staff was always friendly. The location is very good, within walking distance to 3 of the 4 beaches in Bali. We wished we could have stayed longer!
A very good hotel with very good taverna and a wonderful pool.
The hotel was very clean, (they clean the room every day), with a good staff and a very good position, 30 m from the sea. You can stay on the beach or at the pool. The food was delicious and the prices were cheaper than the other tavernas.
Great location, everything is walking distance within Bali (some steep hills in the village but you get used to it!). The views of the bays and the ocean are incredible from the hotel rooftop, restaurant and our ocean view room. The best we’ve ever had from a hotel.
The staff were so friendly and the hotel was spotless. Lovely modern rooms and great pool area. We’d had a terrible experience at the T-suites hotel up the road and the staff at Bali Star turned our whole holiday around
Location is very good. The rooms and hotel are beautiful and very clean. Beach towels were provided once for free, to change you need to pay 2 €. There is a market almost at the hotel. Breakfast was good.
excellent location at a quiet end of Bali, this is our second time at this hotel. Great selection for breakfast, clean rooms with daily cleaning. Pool is lovely. Ideal for families with young children
Very good place to stay in picturesque village of Bali for a big group of friends. Separate rooms with private bathrooms, very nice and quickly reacting hosts, good kitchen appliances.
