The staff was very helpful. The food was good and there was always enough. You could see they really pay attention to it. They tried to make us feel comfortable as much as they can. Cleaning service, everything. All inclusive service waa great.

We had a small problem with the bedlight and allso asked for an extra cover and this was fixed within minutes. We were also upgraded to a better room. We had booked economy for just one night - but due to some available rooms in the category above we got one with a balcony with seaview.
Now that's customer service :-)
Just a few metres away from its own private beach, and less than 1 km away from the shopping centre of Ierapetra, Tylissos Beach Hotel - Adults Only offers a swimming pool, children’s pool and...

Nice room, a little small, but comfortable. Breakfast was very continental but then the guests seem to be mainly from Germany so I can't complain. The food was OK, but then there are so many nice restaurants around it is hard to complete. The staff were all very friendly and the bar on the hotel beach was excellent.
Situated on the pebbled beach of Ferma, Kakkos Bay offers air-conditioned rooms with views of the Libyan Sea. It has a swimming pool and a restaurant, and it is surrounded by the lush gardens.

The staff were wonderful and did all they could to improve our stay at this overpriced, below average resort. The beach is also very nice and we liked that there were always sun beds available.
We were here to celebrate our honeymoon so were upgraded from a double room to a bungalow and were able to eat at the slightly nicer 5* buffet restaurant. Even here though, most food was only passable with only a few decent options. The local tavernas (within driving distance) served far superior food for a fraction of the cost. Sadly, despite the upgrades, which we were very grateful for, we wouldn’t return and would not recommend this place.
Facing the beachfront, Enorme Santanna Beach offers 4-star accommodation in Ierápetra and has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden.
Located right on the sandy beach of Ierapetra, Katerina Studios & Apartments features self-catered accommodation with free Wi-Fi and balcony overlooking the Libyan Sea or the town.

The location is not the happiest choice because there were few restaurants open and the menu of the functional ones was very limited (3 main courses). The beach is mostly undeveloped with black sand and stones, sudden entry into the water and windy. Also, there is only a small sidewalk, otherwise it is necessary to go directly on the road, which can be dangerous. It is definitely not a tourist city

Wonderful friendly staff. Nothing is too difficult for them.
Wonderful friendly staff. Nothing is too difficult for them. Very attentive to your needs.
My suite was spotless, with very good furniture and loungers etc on the two balconies.
The food at breakfast and dinner was excellent with a huge choice to suit all tastes.
(The red wine was excellent too!)
My stay was far too short. I will be making another reservation around September. Can't wait!
Elia Houses is conveniently located in Koutsounari, just 10 metres off the main road. However it is very quiet thanks to the row of Olive trees in front. There are plenty of tavernas, grocery stores around and also the Long Beach and the Kakkos Beach are 5 mins away by walk. The owner, Dimitri was very friendly and warm. The house is as per the pictures with clean bedding and towels. There was a daily cleaning service which was also great. The Wi-Fi was stable and I was able to watch videos on Netflix and Youtube. Great value for money.
It was a fantastic experience. The hostess is a great, helpful and very enthusiastic person. The cottages are absolutely beautiful, a true revival of the cretan culture. We were amazed by the cottages' architecture and how every tiny detail was taken care of. They are ideal for everyone - friends, couples or families. The location is also fantastic, quite and very close and accessible to beautiful and clean beaches as well as to nice taverns. We highly recommend koutsounari traditional cottages and we look forward to return.
We have traveled around the world and have never stayed before in such an idyllic most beautiful setting.
The owner came by personally every day to see if we needed anything and to ensure we are well cared for.
You can use the nearby 5 star Hotel if you feel you needed a change of scenery. You really should have a car to visit nearby towns and Restaurants.
Try Boheme in Leopetra, which was amazing and Kapilio in the Mountains.
We can’t wait to return.
Surprisingly impressive suite I had incredible time in this astonishing hotel in amazing Ierapetra area. The hotel offered astounding views, wonderful and clean pool, surprisingly impressive suite witn modern furniture, spotless and spacious bathroom with bathrobes and hair dryer. All was great and the value was good. Thank you for an amazing vacation, amazing staff and excellent services. Definitely I'll be back next summer.
My room was large with very clean bathroom with towels and a/c, tv and huge balcony with view to the ocean. A microwave and a toaster were available in the room. Staff was mannerly and friendly. I needed some information about the around area and they where attentive to inform me well. Room services was genteel and great. BBQ facilities and snack bar were also available to this impeccable hotel. 100% recommendation.
It will make you feel like being at home, even if you never felt like home anywhere in your life. The structure is a nice one, rooms are very spacious and facilities are adequate to a superb, elegant and high class hotel. Families seem to find themselves at perfect ease here. Personally, I have no kids and I am a well-travelled guest. Overall it was a great experience. 100% recommendation by me.
Hotel was amazing, with polite and attentive staff, excellent large and clean water pool, exquisite spacious room with sea view and comfort double bed with soft mattress and pillows and also you can play billiards and darts at the property! Bike hire and car hire were available as also the WIFI was fast and free in whole complex. Strongly recommend it!
The appartments are on a hill looking over the sea. It's a big appartment with a fully equipped kitchen. The bath room is large and beautiful. Overall it's OK but not that romantic.
It's not a touristic area but there's a nice beach close to the hotel. Please be careful for the cats on the roads and next to the hotel when you arrive by car.
From the moment I arrived I was instantly made to feel welcome. The suites and hotel are exceptionally clean and the workers-cleaners so nice. The beds are so comfortable I slept like a baby! Creta Suites also includes a hot tub and fitness centre and that's very impressive and super! Definitely I'll be back for more days.
Thank you so much for the incredibly good service. Probably the best hotel I've ever visited in my life! The sea view is perfect from the suite and the hospitality of the staff is just unbelievable. Good and fair rates for the season, so I have no hesitate to recommended to everyone.
Everything was so perfect! We had a two bedroom appartement with a nice view. The appartement is spacious and the area is quiet and relaxing vibes. Nikos was very Nice and explained a few things, recommended what to visit in Crete. I would definetely return.
When we arrived, we found the property as we saw it on the website. From our arrival, the hotel staff did everything to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. They showed what it really means to work in hospitality and be good at what they do.
We had a really great time at Koutsounari Traditional Cottages.
The apartment was really grand for us four people.
The view was amazing and the staff really helpful.
