Great location. The beach is close, it takes an hour to get to Corfu town by bus, a few minutes walk to the bus stop, there are many cafes and shops nearby. Air conditioning is free. The owner does not show real photos of the bathroom. But it was clean, everything worked. Of the minuses, there is no kettle, but it is not in the description, this is just a wish. Overall, we are satisfied, but For the money there are better options.

Morraitika is a small village.
Morraitika is a small village. Some places in Moraitika are poor and there is a lot of cats everywhere. But if you are looking for small village with not a lot of people, it´s fine. In this village you can buy everything - there is a lot of shops and supermarkets here. And staffs in shops and apartments is very very helpful and friendly. I liked the people there very much. The best is sandy beach Moraitika and Messonghi beach and time here is real relax.

The location of Moraitika is perfect.
The location of Moraitika is perfect. The beach is vast with lots of facilities along it's expanse. The Green bus runs to time and is great value at only €2.20 one way into Corfu Town. There are many restaurants and pubs serving beautiful food and lots of supermarkets that are open all day. Some supermarkets do close on Sundays though.
We ate in a few restaurants including Jimmy's family Taverna which is run by Costas & his son Samy, Enjoy fast food which serves fantastic & great value meals & Pizza Sul Posto which had a superb variety of pizzas which were delicious.

Great seaside location with long shoreline and loads of umbrellas. It was busy. Good selection of food outlets along the beach and ones that will cater for you if you sit at their chairs/umbrellas or you can get out of the sun and sit in the restaurants.
One of our highlights was eating dinner at a family-run fish restaurant on the main shopping strip called - PESCE FISH BAR. It is small so you might need to wait or they also do takeaway.
The location has multiple supermarkets with a good range of products for those who want to self-cater.

We liked Moraitika, (only the accommodation was lacking).
We liked Moraitika, (only the accommodation was lacking). Lots of shops, good supermarkets and good choice of restaurants serving different foods with varying prices. Approx. 15 minutes from main street to beach, walking. Very friendly people. Busy main street but we knew this. Green buses to Corfu town, seem fairly reliable.

Loved the town/village. Warmest, friendly people.
Loved the town/village. Warmest, friendly people. Close to Corfu but easy to reach anything in the southern part. Lots of great beaches, restaurants and other small villages near by.
Very walkable from our hotel
*Top restaurants are The Vilage taverna, Bella Vista and Caldera (seaside restaurant). Top 2 more traditional, latter is more of a modern twist, with the best sides/starters.

We didn’t like Moraitika.
We didn’t like Moraitika. It’s just a village on a main road with very heavy traffic. A few bars, restaurants and shops on each side. The beach is about 10 minutes away. It’s just a smallish stretch of shingle/pebbles with sun beds and a couple of restaurants. Very few people around for mid September, so no atmosphere whatsoever.
Despite the fact that our accommodation was excellent and the weather was fantastic, we left two days early. There are much nicer resorts in Corfu
The property was big enough, all staff was polite and well organized. The hotel has taken all COVID precautions and all staff and people wore masks.
Breakfast and dinner had a large buffet with a lot of food! Hotel organized nice events every 2 nights at the beach bar. 7:00 am the beach opens and in order to get a sun-bed you have to go to put your beach towel and reserve the sun beds. This is a bit annoying but this is the policy. The beach in front of the hotel is good. I would definitely visit this place again!
The place is the best for exploring. korfu is magical place. Our room is perfect just what we needed. everything inside room is very new. modern tv with many chanel. very clean and quiet. special decoration and style. there is all you need in bathroom like hairdryer and little olive oil soap. also shower gel and shampoos. we liked everything in hotel. different than usual hotel style we stayed. we had nice balcony with swing. amazing style. there is nothing we dont like. we would come back again.
Renata was a lovely host. Very friendly , informative and with excellent English. She made us very welcome. Property was close to the beach with fabulous views. Great communal area to sit out by the bbq if you wanted more company but plenty of private space on the balcony too(we were in one of the 2 bed apartments).
Great location. we hired a car to get there and explore further south and went across to the other side of the island. We also drove to Corfu old town which was about 30 mins away.
I really liked that the hotel was on the beach. The sea was lovely. The room was a great size and I loved that we had a terrace with sunbeds and a table and chairs set. Aircon in the room was also great. The beach had a wide range of water sports which is usually quite hard to find right outside your hotel. The location was good, a short walk from the hotel is a strip of bars and restaurants and you can get a short boat ride into Messonghi Village which was lovely.
We had a wonderful stay at Firefly! Extremely helpful and friendly staff, great location just a minute walk from the beach. Beautiful surroundings, cute cats and great food at the downstairs restaurant. Moraitika is a lovely, quiet little town with everything you might need on your doorstep without being overly touristy with good bus connections and car rentals for excursions.
We recently stayed at an apartment in Moraitika, Corfu, Greece, and had a wonderful experience. Pepi, the owner, was exceptionally kind and hospitable, making sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Moraitika. I look forward to visiting again soon!
This hotel couldn’t be any better, it is in the perfect location only 7 minutes walk from the beach and many lovely restaurants. The staff are all very friendly and will always go above and beyond for you. This was my first time staying here but I have already booked to stay here again next month. Very excited to return, thank you once again!!
The beautiful grounds with plenty of outdoor seating was a wonderful oasis between trips to the beach. We traveled with our dog and it was perfect to do walks early morning along the beach and into town, and the hotel is very pet friendly. The staff is very available and helpful. We really loved using Tellis as our home for 2 weeks.
The location of the hotel is beautiful. The check-in process felt very personal, Maria makes you feel like family. We were surprised to find out our room was upgraded with champagne & snacks awaiting us in our villa. We love the included tour that was offered at the local Olive factory. I would highly recommend staying at Domes!
The location was perfect! 3 minute walk to beach. An even shorter walk to bus station and grocery store, restaurants, and shops. The exterior is stunning. The air conditioning in the room works so well. The patio area and pool area is so beautiful. The staff is so kind and helpful! Very welcoming and happy.
Very big nice family friendly hotel. We stayed in beachfront bungolow and it was very good, really just in front of the beach. it was really nice to sit in our balcony and enjoy.. Room was clean and size was ok. We had two problems in our room, about safe and toilet flush, but they solved them quickly.
The hotel is very nice
The room has a modern, nice bathroom
There was a good pool, we used it every evening
The room was so tidy every day
Everything located few steps from the hotel door, shops, bars, restaurants, and beach is close enough
The hosts are extremely nice, they make you feel at home and make you enjoy a great family time! they go above and beyond to support you relax and enjoy the island.
the view from the hotel is wonderful, breakfast by the pool is plus plus!
Nice hotel, little bit far away from beach, but with great pool... you can choose if you are going to beach or have a rest near Pool... Receptionist can manage everything you want, and can answer all of your questions. Very helpful!
The owner is a very lovely, warm hearted person, we didn’t miss a thing.
The design of the hotel is unique, comfy and modern.
The bus station is really close and the beach is a walk of only 10 minutes.
Warm, friendly and helpful host, location very close to the beach, nice rooms with tall ceiling and balcony, beautiful yard with olive trees, plenty of room for parking.
Hosts were very kind to us. They gave us a lot of suggestions about places to visit on the island. I would suggest asking them for some tips before exploring Corfu :)
