I recommend with all confidence both for single travelers and families.! The hotel is located in a quiet area, very close to everything you need, taverns, supermarket, the beach. The room was clean and very spacious. The owner is a very nice lady, ready to help you with absolutely everything you need. I will definitely come back.

Location on the sea front luckily we got parked across from the hotel. Owners checked us in very friendly & recommended a restaurant for dinner. Room very clean, not big but ample for a couple nights stay, good shower with plenty power & hot water.
This small hotel offers a small swimming pool, free Wi-Fi access and simply furnished rooms, some with sea views.

As soon as I got off the coach from Thessaloniki the property was only about 20 steps away, which was very accessible and easy to get to. It has everything you need, great shower, great bed with fresh linen and covers, even tea and coffee making machine and a balcony with a great view. it was about 20 steps away or less from both the pilgrim centre to mount Athos which you need to get your visa from and the 2 ferry lines offices which is needed to travel to mount Athos, it could not have been in a more perfect location. As I myself was travelling to mount Athos as a solo traveller, I’d highly recommend this property to anyone who is on a pilgrimage to mount Athos due to its superb location between both the pilgrim office and ferry/boat lines and it’s fantastic host who was happy to help me when I was struggling to find the boating office which was very much appreciated as this was the first time I’d ever done such a pilgrimage at such a young age so i was very nervous. Thank you very much to the host for her help, and a great stay.

Very polite householders.
Clean, comfortable, cozy, mosquito protected, sun protected on the balcony (with adjustable awning). Coffee, tea, water, bath stuff provided in the room. Central location, next to the Byzantine Tower.
Even the noise from the street is not annoying, because it stops around midnight.

The town is dominated by the stunning Byzantine tower; the rest of the town is buzzing with places to eat traditional food. The town itself is not particularly picturesque, but the surrounding beaches, scenery and landscape are majestic. It's good base for exploring the area and for getting boats to other areas as well as Mount Athos.

Great town for food and multicultural experiences.
Great town for food and multicultural experiences. Bad town to be in if it's raining as the power grid immediately fails and there are only a few places that have their own generators. The beach is ok but not that great - as in there are many other better beaches within one hour drive from the town.

An excellent starting place to visit Atos Monasteries by males while you (females) swim or sunbathe or drink on the beach :) You can enjoy delicious food or good house wine in various small restaurants along the shore. Advisable to buy olive oil or olives from small local producers on a very good price. Don't miss the wine too.

There are some prejudices about this city.
There are some prejudices about this city. Although I visited this city many times with my wife, we did not encounter anything that would disturb us. It is a very calm and peaceful city and its people are also very kind. Also, the food in the restaurants is very tasty, the prices are reasonable.
- This is a cheap hotel offering all-meals / half board accommodations. Your expectations should be in line with the price.
- The Hotel is old and you can see the ware of time everywhere. They have done some renovations in the bathrooms and here and there to make it decent to stay there.
- The big plus of this hotel is the hotel beach and the convenient tunnel to access it.
- The buffet options in the restaurant are limited but tasty.
- The stuff is not bad and tries to make the guest feel welcome.
Kari is Oasis on the beach. It is our family's favorite place in Greece. If you want to feel free, to sleep in a quiet place and to enjoy sunsets - hotel Kari is the perfect place. You don't need clothes, because the hotel is just on the beach. The breakfast is very good, the owners are kind and friendly. My son and even our dog was very happy , they feel this place like home and didn't want to leave. That is why every year in September our holiday is in hotel Kari.
Everything was good. The reception was great, the communication as well. I'm allergic to dust and moisture, so I asked them to make the room extra clean - that's how it was, I'm very satisfied. The hotel is located on a beautiful beach, the water is clear, and we had a perfect view of the sunset. We went with two babies, and i recommend for families!
Тhe place is more than perfect. Perfect for a family vacation or business trip. A great terrace in front of the hotel and a garden where you can work online. Breakfast is homemade, everything is very tasty. The hotel team is very responsive. Everywhere is very clean. Every day they clean the rooms and change the towels.
Mainly a family hotel with good amenities and very friendly stuff. Very clean, renovated rooms and a brand new pool.
The sea in front is very nice so if you want to stay in the hotel for your whole vacations its possible.
Breakfast was excellent. Staff was wonderful, Effie really extended herself for me and offered to get up early to drive me to the 6am Mt. Athos boat. Would highly recommend this hotel.
The room was clean, fresh, roomy with a very nice bathroom. The location of the hotel was very good, close to the center of ouranoupolis. I was positively surprised by the hotel!
Clean, bright sunny rooms, friendly and helpful staff. After being in Greece a week this is my favorite place to stay…and the price is better than my other hotels!
The room was spacious, very clean and was cleaned every day. The stuff was welcoming. The view from the room was nice. Overall it was a good stay in Ouranoupolis.
The hotel is good value for money. It's within walking distance to the center of Ouranopolis. The host was friendly and welcomed us with a bottle of wine.
