This hotel was spectacular. Hand down the most breathtaking views and beautiful rooms. The meals were healthy and produced with local produce in mind. Fabulous.

We went in May and it wasn't too busy then. The town and beach were idyllic and not too touristy. It was the perfect location to use as a base to travel to other nearby places on a day trip. It was 20 minutes from the airport and 35 mins to Kalamata city. The roads were very flat on that side and easy to use, they were also in excellent condition for driving. We usually stay in Stoupa but this area is equally lovely and not as busy making the holiday much nicer.

Petalidi area although is mainly a summer destination, is also suitable for winter too (we stayed there at Xmas), offering a good starting point for the amazing destinations around Messinia, namely Koroni, Pylos, Methoni, Gialova and Voidokilia beach, Taygetos mountain, Kalamata, etc.

Have visited but never stayed in Petalidi before.
Have visited but never stayed in Petalidi before. A small local town, not touristy, no night clubs !! People very friendly and helpful. many English speakers but they do like it if you try out your Greek!! Several restaurants around the main square also overlooking the sea/harbour. A couple of super markets for self catering needs. Did see a Lidl on main road near airport!!!!!!!!
Market day is Friday, worth a look. Alex car rental, corner on the square, very helpful for car hire, also for local info, inexpensive, good service.
Good bus service to Kalamata and to Koroni, both worth a visit.

The village has original Greek charm, with the distinct feeling that it not allowed itself to be ruined by mass tourism. The local people were welcoming, it made an ideal base for exploring the local area. There was sufficiently enough eateries to choose from and we enjoyed trying out most.
Beautiful mini-hotel with a view of the bay and Taygetus. Perfect cleanliness. Very comfortable beds like in 5* hotels. The rooms have furniture and blinds made of natural wood and this makes the air in the room very pleasant. The hotel is owned by a very friendly family, they are ready to help at any moment. A five-minute walk to a small secluded beach with small pebbles. Perhaps elderly people will need special shoes. There are very few people on the beach, but there is a bar and a cafe. We have very pleasant memories of this place.
This apartment has everything you need for an amazing holiday regardless the season. Winter or summer it doesn’t matter because the place is prepared for every occasion. Fully equipped kitchen, spacious terrace with a grill facility and THE VIEW! Beds were very comfortable with a sheets of a 5 stars hotel quality. Some quality of a towels. Plus extra touches from our host like a welcoming pack with a bottle of wine or many great recommendations what to do and where to eat. Apartment is spotlessly clean and it feels like home.
Beautifully designed and well-engineered Apartments!
The apartments are brand new in a great location, easy walking distance to everything!
Very clean, spacious, and fully equipped. Excellent for a family.
Amazing sound isolation that allows you to sleep peacefully. The double bed was very comfy. The sea view from the Balcony was great!
The hostess (Helen) was very friendly and she was responded amazingly fast to all of our requests!
We will definitely going to stay again in this hotel.
