The location was amazing! Right at the beginning of the village, no other houses close by, situated amid trees, with a large yard created to look like an orchard. The only thing that took over the silence was the song of birds or of cicadas throughout the day and of grasshoppers at night.
The host was exceptional as well! We've been travelling around Greece for the last 10 years or so, but this was the most welcoming and tourist-orientated host! At arrival we found a loaf of bread, gem, orange juice, cold water and wine, coffee capules and cooking ingredients, none of which were either promised or received in our previous vacantions. Alexander's hospitality kept on revealing itself during our entire stay... Thank you, Alexander! And thank your mom, too! You really offered us a dream-like holiday!

The property was fantastic, clean and well equipped. The location was great and the views from the balcony were wonderful.
The fixtures like the excellent oven, hob, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine made it a home from home. Having great air conditioning in the rooms was also very nice.
The beds were comfortable and the 3 showers were great for the family to get ready quickly.
The owner Lillian and her mother Poppy were very helpful and greeted us with a cake, homemade biscuits and 2 bottles of delicious wine.

We booked a last minute overnight stay in Argostoli after travelling around the island from our base in Skala. The room was huge, spotless and very comfy. A massive shower with good water pressure and tea/coffee making facilities were an added bonus, recommend!
The seaside Tourist Hotel offers air-conditioned and soundproofed rooms. Most units boast views of the sea and Argostoli pebble beach, where Caretta Caretta sea turtles return yearly to nest.

The hotel was easy to reach from the airport and facilities were very good but the main reason I loved it was the care and attention given to me by all the staff who went out of their way to make sure I had a good holiday. Much better and more accommodating than any large hotel I’ve ever stayed in

F Zeen was absolutely perfect from the moment we entered the door to the moment we left.
Staff, facilities, food, and room were first class.
We were upgraded, which made experience even better.
The food and service couldn't be faulted.

Spartia is very small, with a couple of mini markets, a coffee bar and a taverna. It's a great location if you like walking in the countryside, and access by car to a choice of beaches and to Argostoli town (and the airport) is quick and easy.

We loved Spartia, lovely a Greek village and everyone was really welcoming and helpful.
You definitely need a car to get around.
The beach was beautiful but too far for us to walk to in the heat.
We are in Cavo Liakos one evening and it was lovely and a very welcoming host Katerina.
The mini markets have a great selection of goods you might need.

Spartia is just like the other villages of Kefalonia.
Spartia is just like the other villages of Kefalonia. Spread on a hill that ends in a beach, at the shore of the sea, it is not a destination for party seekers, though! Nor is Kefalonia for what I have gathered!
But here, the people, the genuine Greek atmosphere, the silence, the birds, the goats, the wind, offer and create long-life memories.
If you want to get out of your room and reach the beach in a second, this is not the place for you. Here, you obviously need a car to find the greatest beaches around the island and Spartia, beeing located in the South of it, allows you to take different directions , to its left or to its right, or even above it, to Assos or Agia Efimia. We didn't dare go further, as it would have taken us more of an hour's drive...
To sum up, Kefalonia and Spartia, in particular, are great destinations for those who seek the true spirit of Greece, who seek peace, who seek great nature, good wine and the right space that invites to either spending quality time with family or friends, or to reading a good book! Enjoy!!!

I liked Spartia. Villa was a short walk to village centre.
I liked Spartia. Villa was a short walk to village centre. It was near Argostolin and lots of beaches and sites and most of the places one would want to visit without being too touristic or on the flip side too far or inaccessible. Having visited most of the island I would definitely recommend this area. You do need a rental car as there are not a couple of busses a day

Lovely traditional Greek village.
Lovely traditional Greek village. No bus service so if you wanted to see the island you needed to hire a car. Lovely restaurant within walking distance Cavos Liakos. Lovely food and friendly staff. Small supermarket for essentials.
Such friendly staff!! Nana, at reception had upgraded our room upon arrival which was so nice and the amenities were great. The property has a restaurant which has fish, chicken, salads, omelettes and even a coffee bar! They also have a breakfast buffet for 10 Euros per person which includes; coffee, juice, breads, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt etc. We would totally stay here again!! Absolutely loved it, Spartia beach is right outside of the parking lot which is awesome when you want to stay local and not travel to a different beach!
This was a basic, accomodation in a very friendly Greek village. I was greeted on arrival and was overwhelmed by the view from my balcony. The location was a bit remote but just what I wanted. I told the owner one day, that I was going to walk to the beach, which was quite a long walk. To my surprise, they took me in their car. In my room, was a kettle, fridge and microwave, which was all I needed. The village itself, a 3 minute walk was so friendly and after 2 weeks there, I really didn't want to leave.
We loved our stay in the 2-bed apartment! Katerina is an amazing host, she was so welcoming, caring and helpful. In the apartment we found everything we needed, including a home-cooked meal on arrival and fresh food for breakfast and snacks. Katerina also gave us extra beach towels and a parasol, and we borrowed snorkeling equipment from the shed. We really enjoyed exploring the orchard and sampling some of the fruit. All in all a fantastic stay, ευχαριστώ!
The property is 20min away from both the Airport and Argostoli. It has a nice swimming pool, ample balcony and terrace. Parking spaces are plenty, as the entire driveway can be used. There are cooking utensils, fridge, oven, toaster, microwave, water boiler and everything you might need. We also appreciated the washing machine upstairs, as well as the drying rack on the balcony. Overall a nice stay in Spartia region.
The views from the villa are stunning! The pool and outdoor areas are beautiful, comfortable and quiet. There was a bottle of water and a bottle of wine awaiting us upon arrival. Spartia Beach, Waterway Cafe and two mini markets are just short drive away. There was a small cooler and a beach umbrella in the villa which came in very handy when visting the beach.
Clean, modern, comfortable, quiet location, friendly owner and cleaning lady, good pool, short walks and drives to many beaches, small supermarket and tavernas, everything within approx. one hour for daily road trips around the island. We will definitely recommend and return!
Warm welcome and friendly staff. Beautiful room and very clean. Nice view. The beach was a minute walk down the street. The restaurant had a lot of options for vegetarians and very nice cocktails.
Didn't want to leave!
Very obliging hosts, lovely welcome pack, location idyllic, villa finished to a high specification, pool just outside and beautiful quiet beach just down the road.
