The hotel staff provided excellent service. Sthefeny Arauz at the front desk welcomed us with a friendly smile. She was professional, friendly, and helpful. From the moment we arrived, the employees were courteous and helpful (guard at the parking lot, the porter, the cleaning crew, waitresses at the Market Restaurant). The facilities such as the gym, spa, restaurants, swimming pool were cleaned and in working condition. Our room was very cleaned and it had coffee maker, refrigerator, coffee, tea, water bottles. Also, we had a robe and slippers for each of us to wear. The WIFI worked very well. Breakfast was amazing, they had all kind of food warn and cold for all kind of appetite. We had an awesome experience, definitely recommend this hotel, and we’ll return.

I went for work so I don't know about tourist attractions, but the food was great and the people were very friendly. I rented a car and it was fine driving, as long as you are used to driving in cities in developing countries. Not as bad as many places. I would like to go explore outside the city next time.

an interesting city, especially in the oldest part of town.
an interesting city, especially in the oldest part of town. Great Spanish colonial architecture. Easy to walk around. Safe enough. Museums closed when I went, which was disappointing. It’s very hilly! Also, it’s 1000 m above sea level,so if you’re not used to altitude, as I’m not, take a day or more to acclimatise

It has a bad reputation, and I was nervous about going there. But, the airport is conveniently located in the middle of the city, and there are buses on the street directly in front of it. Once I arrived near the hostel, it was in a safe neighborhood.

Beautiful sites.
Beautiful sites. Centrally located, rent a car or taxi tours , many things to see and do. You will recognize several American restaurants and brands. We had an amazing trip from the National parks, Lake Yoja, and the beach on both sides of the country.

I stayed for two days in a work trip, the city has few sightseeing places and local people told me it is a little dangerous to walk the street passed 6:00pm.
Night life in the city was nice I visited a coupule of bars and a food truck zone near the UNAH (National University). The local beers are something worth to try.
Casa Sur is a nice, beautiful, modern, clean hotel. The owner Laura is incredibly friendly and helpful and very accommodating. I got incredibly sick one night (unrelated to the hotel) and the next day while her cleaning staff had the day off she personally cleaned our room and made sure I was doing better. The breakfasts served were amazing. The area was quiet and safe. Definitely will stay again.
Nice social areas, kitchen for use, gated property so felt very safe. The staff were amazing, contacted us in advance, helped with anything we needed and left us snacks and coffee for breakfast which was lovely. Really comfy bed too! We were swapped from the double room we booked to an empty 4 bed dorm. This was very kind as we then had a bathroom to ourselves.
Safety is my priority no matter where I go, and Aparthotel Guijarros offers just that, Safety. The staff were professionals and they were very friendly. The rooms were cleaned. The atmosphere is welcoming. I was impressed by the staff and their willingness to assist. I am definitely staying there again. I am also recommending it to my friends and family.
I went to Honduras for first time and stayed 2 weeks in the hotel because I visited someone in Tegucigalpa. I had a great time. People so friendly, they made my stay very pleasant. Very helpful, for example with ordering food after hotel restaurant closes. Great breakfast. Nice rooms and bed. Nice pool area. Safe area in this not really safe town.
I didn’t actually end up staying at Hotel Ghiza as, when I arrived, they didn’t have any spare rooms but they quickly organised for me to stay at Hotel Alsacia (their sister hotel) covering the cost of the Uber and charging me the same price. The staff were very helpful and let me print off my documents ready for the Nicaraguan border
The breakfast was delicious and lots of choices. The rooms were large with very comfortable beds. VERY CLEAN. I also enjoyed the swimming Pool and the sauna.
After a number of mistakes made by the hotel they did upgrade me to a suite. This was nice.
This is the feedback from my colleague: It seems it belongs to an owner/ organizations, who seems to own all the hotels in this small district. Therefore, the district is safe and clean, and with some restaurants and bars
Free room upgrade
The concept is more likely a big guest house than a regular hotel.
The property is beautiful and has amazing pieces of arts.
Customer service excellent.
Big room, super clean and elegant.
The managment is friendly and generous.
This is the place to stay in Tegucigalpa. Super safe, super quiet and calm, Laura is amazing host. The best in centro America so far. Rooms are spacious and big, super cozy lobby. Breakfast is awesome, simply 10 rate!
It’s great hotel! Great location and it has a very nice view! However, they do not accept credit cards payment and they didn’t accept a cash payment that was only one dollar less that what they asked!!!
hot water, location near the center (but unfortunately there are a lot of homeless people right at the entrance to the hotel), intercity bus terminal directly opposite the hotel
Large comfortable room, nice open space near reception, helpful staff. It’s a $5 ride from the Pullmantur terminal and all taxi drivers knew the hotel immediately.
