Very cozy wooden country house, very atmospheric. I really liked that I had my personal kitchen with all the supplies. Territory around was amazing — jungles, river, very green. And staff was sooo polite — they met me so I don’t get lost, helped me with bags, always stayed in touch in WhatsApp. And they let me to check out later. Really liked living here.

I loved absolutely everything about this hotel. The rooms are lovely, modern, clean and well set out. I had a pool access room and what a treat! The pool is really lovely and really long! So you can do big laps if that's your type of exercise. The food in the restaurant is very good and breakfast was definitely to my liking. The on site patisserie is wonderful!! Gorgeous treats and also juice health drinks. Daily yoga was great with a lovely instructor. Air con in room excellent and I had read mozzies were bad in bali at the time of my stay so I asked if it were OK if I bought an electric mozzie repellent device to use but they said I didn't need to buy and they put one in for me but I did not see one single mozzie on my whole trip! I was also given a late check out due to late flight. They do also have a shower changing room that you can use after you have checked out of your room complete with towels and hair dryer etc. And then lastly the staff, they are all AMAZING! If I had to score out of 10, I would give them 15+ because they are that lovely and super helpful. I needed a bit of help with a business issue back home and they went over and above to help me. Within 24 hours just about every staff member knew my name and always greeted me with a huge smile. Even the transport/security men were so friendly. The two stand out staff were Jay and Santya in the restaurant. Being a solo traveller they made me feel comfortable and I loved chatting with them in the restaurant. This was my second stay at Kanvas Village and it certainly won't be my last.. I will definitely be going back! The Executive room was nice & big, big bathtub. The service & the location was very good. Worth for what we paid for.

The size of the room was huge. Pool was massive and clean. Food was good and well priced. Bed was so comfortable, we had a problem with our air conditioning and they came and fixed it immediately.

Was run down, no hot water, no fresh towels, thin walls and loud neighbours. Not good if you are wanting a relaxing holiday and get sleep
