I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing hotel, and let me tell you, it was an absolute 5-star experience! 🌟 The location was perfect, offering stunning views of Galway Bay and the local pier. The room itself was simply breathtaking, finished to an incredibly high standard. I loved the attention to detail, especially the beautiful Voya products in the bathroom. It even had a smart TV in the room, which was a great bonus. Shauna at the front desk was an absolute delight, making us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was a true highlight, with the most amazing pancakes you can imagine, all enjoyed with a view of the bay. The menu was well-priced and offered a great variety of options. The hotel had such a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind. Plus, they had parking available, and even electric chargers, which was super convenient. The flexible check-in process was a nice touch as well. I highly recommend this place, and I can say with certainty that I will be returning in the future. It's an absolute gem! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

It was fantastic experience very quite absolutely relaxing!
If you love the burren there is no better place to stay! There is a walk path just behind the house going straight to the hill where you walk around and see a breathtaking view of the landscape!
Even a little cat come to say hello to me in the evening and I felt at home!
Very little choice of places to eat or have a coffee.
Very little choice of places to eat or have a coffee. Tea rooms not open at 11am on Thursday as suggested. Had a fab dinner at Monks and on a return visit next morning at 1130am had great tea n scones in front of blazing stove. Superb.

The hosts were very friendly right from greeting us upon arrival and giving us tips to serving us breakfast before we left. The full Irish breakfast was very good. We had dinner before arriving in Ballyvaughan, and only stayed for one night. We had a car, so it was easy for us to drive into the town centre from there. We would stay there again. We were given tips of sites to see when we left, and one we were glad not to miss was the Poulnabrone Portal tomb.

We only were able to stay one night.
We only were able to stay one night. It was a great launch pad for visiting the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. The people were friendly, the food was great and the pub was fun with local, live music!
We recommend it!

The Clare Way is a nice way for walkers.
The Clare Way is a nice way for walkers. There are at least two good places to eat out.
Some side roads are in a poor state of repair. Clare County Council need to fill the pot holes and try and keep the roads in decent repair. This includes some access routes to this property.

A beautiful traditional Irish village with all you need for a comfortable varied stay in Ireland. Situated between the stunning Burren and the cliffs off the Atlantic Ocean, and nestled on the south side of Galway Bay, Ballyvaughan is ideally located. There are a lot of places to visit in the area. You can swim in the bay or on the nearby Bishop's Quarter beach. In Summer or Winter there are lovely places to visit and in Ballyvaughan alone, the fabulous Monk's seafood restaurant is a great spot with super friendly staff, a warm welcome and really fabulous food. I cannot wait to go back to Ballyvaughan!

there was a Match-making Festival happening in September in...
there was a Match-making Festival happening in September in nearby villages of west of ireland, named biggest party for singles in the world. this was the best accommodation in terms of crowd-avoidance and distance from local attractions. we could have stayed little longer...
Very friendly reception. The landlady is cordial and willing to provide information. The rooms were spacious, clean and in a quiet location on the Cliffs of Moher.
The house is almost in the center of the village. Sea, restaurants and harbor are within very short walking distance. A grocery store for shopping is only 50 meters away.
Breakfast was extensive and very good.
We would try again to book this accommodation on a renewed trip to this place.
The location was perfect for our stay right in the centre of Ballyvaughan near to cafes and restaurants. The house was clean , bright and comfortable.
Only downside was our en-suite did not work during our stay. The owner was notified and said it would require to be checked by an electrician. In this instance we were lucky to be able to use the shower in the main bathroom as we were not sharing the house with anyone else.
Wolfgang and Maria have created an oasis on the Burren. They meticulously and was great effort created an amazing hotel. The accommodations were more than comfortable as well as the library, dining room and games room/bar. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Amazing friendly staff. Hope to be back someday. Built on three natural springs with the cleanest tasting water I have tasted.
Superb location - within 2 minutes walk of a shop, restaurants, the pier.
The view was incredible - the house looks right over the water.
Would highly recommend for an intergenerational family holiday, both for the generous-sized house (with ground floor rooms), the location in Ballyvaughan, and the range of activities within an easy driving distance
This place is a gem. Karen was so friendly and helpful in every way. Our room was spacious, spotless, and the bed was quite comfortable. The "Irish breakfast" was the best we had throughout our visit to Ireland. Our stay at the Creggs helped make Ballyvaughan the highlight of our holiday. We recommend this place highly and hope to return.
be The price for the room was extortionate €310 and breakfast was not €12.50 per person extra . We travel to Ballyvaughan every year for the Tour de Burren. Last time we were there in 2019 the room rate was €240 in the Atlantic Lodge and breakfast was included. Definitely example of price gouging . Wont be back unless we get a better rate.
Peaceful, beautiful, relaxing, and healing. Our stay was way too short. Wolfgang and Maria are the most wonderful, helpful, intriguing and engaging couple I've had the pleasure of meeting in Ireland. When I next visit Ireland, I look forward to staying with them longer. The views are amazing.
Hosts were very welcoming. Beautifully clean, appointed self catering Studio with fresh supplies of bread, milk, tea, coffee and cake. Perfect location for visiting Aillwee Caves and a good stop along The Wild Atlantic Way.
Lovely rural setting with a short drive to local town.
Cappabhaile House is an exceptionally nice place to stay in Ballyvaughan. The breakfasts were exceptionally good, the rooms were extremely quiet, and the proprietor, Connor, is an excellent source of information about things to see and music to hear in the area.
This hotel is a gem. Excellent location for exploring north Clare. We were upgraded on arrival. Our room was beautiful. We ate in the bar one evening and the food was really good. Watching the sunset on Galway Bay was the icing on the cake,
Burren Court holiday homes are just up the hill from the beautiful Ballyvaughan , they are ideal for family holiday get together or small breaks away . comfy beds great walks nearby staff are very helpful can’t recommend enough .
Fanciest B&B out of 3 trips to Ireland. More formal with paid staff rather than just the owner doing all the work. The breakfast room is more like a restaurant with a huge buffet of fresh fruits and homemade fruit compotes.
The lodge was beautiful, clean, well decorated and so welcoming. The hosts were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were fabulous, we ate very well and the food was so fresh. We loved our stay there.
The staff were so helpful and kind. The food was great. But the way we were made feel, was so lovely. A perfect break in a perfect place. The whole village is lovely, but the Wild Atlantic Lodge was wonderful
The hotel was well appointed, very clean and quiet. The guest receptionist was kind and thoughtful. I fell ill while there, and she called me room to check on my, brought me soup at lunchtime.
Central location for touring Clare/ quiet/ very comfortable beds/ good shower/ good food/ friendly staff/ comfortable outside space to have a drink. / friendly bar staff and restaurant staff.
Had a lovely stay, the hotel was top notch and I really enjoyed myself. However my stay was marred by developing a very bad back, so hotel staff helped me contact my insurance company.
The scrambled egg and salmon was excellent for breakfast .
Ballyvaughan lodge is located very close to some great pubs and restaurants, Fanore beach is a short drive away.
This was our favorite B&B in Ireland! Mary is so charming! We loved her cooking and her house is clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend staying here.
