Great b&b. Very accommodating. We had our 2 dogs with us and we were upgraded to a bigger room. Very nice of the owner. The breakfast was also good with vegetarian options - they ask you what you would like the night before

A small friendly town surrounded by spectacular beaches and coastline with plenty of informative signage of the history of the area.
Also recently opened a beautiful new interactive museum called Solas and has a gorgeous little bakery coffee shop An Builín Blasta as the hub of the town. A hidden gem!

We loved the scenery, Shore Rd cliff walk, and the tidal pool, Large Aldi and Euro stores, lovely little cosy pubs, and of course ,The Talbot Hotel is fab to eat in 😍 There are Hairdressers, Barbers, Beauticians, Takeaways and carry out, A Nice circular walk around town possible and good parking. People are friendly, kind, can't help you enough, eager to give good advice but going there in early Spring means there's very little entertainment, maybe one day a week, usually Thurs. Weather is quite cold and blustery, on the extreme west coast of Ireland and everyone is waiting for season to start after Easter to Sept .Many can speak Irish fluently but don't..Alot of fab Holiday Homes which are unoccupied for at least half to two thirds of the year ..would like to return when it's warmer n.more visitors around.

This is an exceptional property with all mod cons in the centre of the town with easy parking. It was spotlessly clean, and the beds and duvets were super comfy. I would highly recommend it.
The only downside was the lack of a coffee maker, but the rest of the facilities more than made up for this.

Its the main town at the neck of the Mullet peninsula, with stunning walks and drives around Broad Haven and Blacksod Bay nearby. The town has good eating and drinking options, with several traditional Irish pubs. The Talbot is good for seafood. McDonnells, O'Ds and the Western Strands serve good Guinness.
I stayed here with friends from my sport club when scuba diving on the Belmullet peninsula. It was great for our needs, plenty of space to chill out, and a grand spacious kitchen for cooking large meals. There was lots of space in the yard for parking and the massive utility room was a bonus for drying wet clothes when we'd been outside all day. It makes a great base for outdoor adventures in the Mayo area. Would come back to stay again.
This was a cozy and welcome getaway, ideally located near the coast and full Belmullet peninsula. The host was so friendly and helped with anything that came up. Seeing the ducks, pigs, and chickens on the property was a pleasure. The view from the living area is fantastic and plays like an everchanging painting throughout the day. The living space with the furnace was relaxing for the evenings as well.
Breakfast buffet was included. Buffet included scrambled or fried eggs, coffee, tea, bacon, sausage, and pastries. We had both dinner and lunch in the restaurant. The food and service was very good. What made our stay exceptional was the staff. dining, maid service and front desk were all extremely helpful and friendly. In fact, if we were to return to Ireland, we would extend our stay at the hotel.
The staff members were super. Both Kathleen and Rachel were both very friendly and very helpful. They were very patient with us. We had a lot of questions. Rachel also brought us treats from the downstairs bakery. You can't beat the location in the heart of Belmullet . It is very close to restaurants, bars (especially McDonnell's), grocery stores and Sacred Heart Church (for Sunday mass).
Very comfortable room, lovely staff at the front desk and in the breakfast room...decor a bit over the top but fun, street parking that was pretty easy to find, walkable to grocery, pubs, pharmacy. Restaurant attached/next door has great food with a good bar. Very accommodating of gluten free food. Great location to see all of Mullet. We stayed 2 nights and drove every road!
Perfect place to switch off, right on the water, so peaceful but with Belmullet town, several beaches and places to visit within a few miles. Lovely cottage, very well equipped and with comfortable beds. Books, games, flask, lunch boxes etc provided were appreciated. Host Nuala is most welcoming and helpful.
Perfect for our Lavelle reunion at the Turas Siar Center, our ride out to the Inishkea Islands, golf at the famous Carne golf course ,day trip to Achill Island where the views from the top will knock your socks off, and the friendly pubs seeming the best tasting Guinness you have ever enjoyed.
Host Dominic was very friendly and helpful for local infos. Location is amazing, close to Belderra and many other beaches, Cross lake etc... Belmullet is not far neither with supermarket. Excellent location to discover Belmullet peninsula. House is very cosy and confy.
Location is perfect and hosts are so welcoming and helpful. Not only are you right in the middle of town and a stones throw away from all the entertainment, leisure, food, people and the sea Belmullet and Erris has to offer. You're also right by the Wild Atlantic Way.
The house has everything you need, it is a home from home. It is close to the town of Belmullet with shops and restaurants and a pub 100 metres from the front door. There are a number of beautiful stops along the wild atlantic way within a short drive.
lovely home on a largely Irish/English speaking part of the western coast with fantastic day trip options. too many choices of things to do! east drive from Galway and could have stayed a week and not run out of things to do!
Town centre. Close to everything .Spoke to host before arriving and he was very kind. We were in Belmullet for Belmullet.ullet 200 so it really suited us. W e would love to return to apartment again.
Great host very clean apartment and comfortable. Fantastic location to shops Pubs and Restaurants within a 5 minute walk and close to a grocery store.
Bed was extremely comfy bed, fireplace, kitchen.
